New Fakemon Spotted:
Yindi Pokedex #25
Wikali (Wik, Wik-Mungkan, a group of Aboriginal people who originally lived in areas ranging in western Cape Peninsula from Northern Queensland who speak in their own language and are the largest branch of the Wik group + Rakali)
The Rakali Pokemon
Electric/Water
Abilities: Swift Swim and Lightning Rod
Hidden Ability: Drizzle
BST: 320 (same base stat total as Pikachu); the base stat total for Partner Wakali is the same as for Partner Pikachu at 430
No known Pokedex entries and shines are done yet. It serves as the Yindi region's version of Pikachu who becomes a mascot in the region.
It evolves into Rajeri by via high friendship and again into Chyrsotter by via the Thunder stone.
Yindi Pokedex #26
Rajeri (Rakali + Ngarrindjeri, a group of Aboriginal people who are from the lower Murray River, eastern part of Fleurieu Peninsula and the Coorong of the south-central part of South Australia, in which they made the species name ralkali official in the first place; the name means "belonging to men" and refers to a "tribal constellation" which also includes the Indigenous groups of the Jarildekald, Tanganekald, Meintangk and Ramindjer)
The Ralkali Pokemon
Electric/Water
Abilities: Swift Swim and Lightning Rod
Hidden Ability: Drizzle
BST: 485 (same base stat total as Raichu)
It has no known Pokedex entries and shiny currently. It's the Yindi region's version of Raichu.
It evolves from Wakali by via high friendship and evolves into Chrysotter by via the Thunder Stone.
Yindi Pokdex #27
Chrysotter (Hydromys chrysogaster, which is the scientific name for the rakali + otter, because the ralkali is also referred to as the "Australian otter," hence it now becomes a rakali/otter hybrid)
The Rakali Otter Pokemon
Electric/Water
Abilities: Swift Swim and Electro Surfing Boarder (signature ability)
Electro Surfing Boarder: It has an immunity to Electric-Type attacks and has its special attack instead like Lightning Rod, it gains a speed boost every turn like Speed Boost and dodges the attacks of its allies like Telepathy. In addition to those effects, it also makes electoral fields that protect itself and its allies from all spread moves, basically creating an electric surfboard for them. It has this ability when it Mega evolves.
Hidden Ability: Drizzle
BST: 585 (the same base stat total as Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y)
It has no known Pokedex entries and shiny colouration yet. It's the Yindi region's version of Gorochu (the scrapped evolution for Raichu) as it has the fangs, teeth, has the power to rival Tapu Koko and Raikou and is an otter/ralkali hybrid rather than a pure ralkali Pokemon. It also takes an element from Alolan Raichu where it can use its surfboard, but is willing to share it with others when they're in danger.
It is capable of Mega evolution.
It evolves from Rajeri with the Thunder Stone and is the fully evolved form of Wikali.
The whole line have a 50/50 ratio between male and female and are in the Field and Water 1 egg groups.
I couldn't get myself the courage to do a regional version for Eevee as it's hard to do one based on a native species and have a different evolution for all of them. Plus I think Eevee is perfect and is in the regional Pokedex, and it's Pokedex number is right after Chrysotter, sitting at Pokedex numbers 28, with the Eeveelutions sitting in between Pokedex numbers 29 for Vaporeon and number 36 for Sylveon (unless if they decide to add more Eeveelutions). Plus imagine Pokemon Let's Go Wikali and Let's Go Eevee in Yindi. I could do this if I was able to make fangames or Rom hacks based in the region called Pokemon Rainbow and Pokemon Monochrome.
There's no Pichu version for this region. If you're interested in looking at it, I would DM you the baby stage I drew. It will not exist in the Pokedex, but I drew it in case if any of you prefer it over Rajeri or Chrysotter.
Would you add these Pokemon onto your team?
