Will anyone see this post? This is my first post in 2020 and my first post in 4 or 5 years. This is an update I would say. The first picture is dated jan 26 2014 the bottom picture taken today jan 26 2020. The first picture was going to be a before picture which it is. The bottom picture is not really an after but it’s what I look like now. I haven’t been in a gym in 4 years or more. I stopped exercising all together.
Weight has always been an issue for me. When I did do cardio or attempted exercise I only lost about 5lbs a month. Even when exercsing 4 hours a day. After months of frustration I stopped. Thinking I shouldn’t have to do all this work for minimal results. I’m not even sure over the 4 years how I lost weight. It just happened... I didn’t really restrict myself, maybe just eating better while at work most days.
I work a night shift job and pack my own lunch which would be a few yogurts or gogurt. A chobani yogurt and cheerios for my lunch. A small yogurt or gogurt on my 10 min breaks. Maybe a pack of crackers or a granola bar, or banana to switch things up. I have ate like that for at least 4 years maybe even 6 or 7 yrs. Don’t get me wrong, I have bought soda or chips and a candy bar at work. Eating healthy for me isn’t 100%.
Even at home is way different when at work. I usually have a big breakfast when I get home from work since I get off at 7am. It could be a sasuage biscuit for breakfast, oatmeal or even leftover pizza. I usually go to sleep around 11am after watching my daily tv shows; and I sleep until time to wake up for work, 9pm. I would like to think I eat more when I’m at work so I try to make it healthy.
The other day I woke up to being 153lbs. The lowest I been since the summer of my 11th or 12th yr in High School. When I got put on weight loss Rx Pills. I have no idea what I weighed in 2014. But under my “story of my life” I would guess I’m at 180lbs in the first picture. I have been stable at 160 here recently I guess during 2019 and 2018 possibly. I also think why struggle with your weight and dieting during the best years of your life. I am currently 32 will be 33 in June 2020. So I have been yoyo dieting for 15yrs of my life since high school.
Anyways that’s an update and I’m not that focused on dieting or weight loss right now. I do miss going to the gym and using the weight machines. Maybe someday I’ll get back into it, who knows.
