May in June
It has been some lovely summer days here in Notodden of late, which has been absolutely delightful. I have experienced a lot of it from my studio, and am nearly finished with the song for May, titled The Awakening. I will share it with you within June. This song was a rather smooth process, and hopefully it will turn out fine. I have used my new Prophet ´08 synth on The Awakening, to get synthesized, but retro sounding strings. It has been bliss to work with, and it has such rich and warm sounds, with lots of tweaking options. So warm and admirable thoughts go to the synth guru behind it, “the Father of Midi”, Dave Smith :)
