#2012 version

Out of all the villains who would branch be the most scared of?

Good question! Although it's a tough one since many of the villains in 2012 are truly terrifying. XD I mean, that CGI certainly didn't hold back when it came to showing us undeniably grotesque and unpleasant things, seriously. The truth is, I would have loved for 2012 to have further explored that potential in more stories with horrifying villains or continued the plots it left unfinished. That would have been great.

But from the perspective of an 8-year-old and up, it's hard to decide because everything would seem terrifying. Not to mention that it's very possible Ramón will end up meeting villains from Seasons 1 and 2 who didn't reappear in the rest of the series. Like the Terminator Cockroach, who, according to his episode, survived. Or the Squirrelanoids, who are still roaming New York.

And then we have the main cast of villains, whom he would have the misfortune of seeing more of, but honestly, I don't think Ramón would find them scary. :V Compared to other things that appear in that series, the recurring villains are the most tame to fear. Although Ramón might be a little afraid of Razhar because he's the one who looks the most physically intimidating after his second mutation. He'd also obviously be afraid of Shredder, but I still don't know if Ramón would ever see him in person and not just from afar or through the turtles' stories, since I highly doubt the guys would let him get close enough to the man who wants to kill his new family.

We also have the Kraang, but they… well, the truth is Ramón would stop being afraid of them after interacting with them a couple of times. I mean, aliens are always a little intimidating simply because they don't belong to this world, but then he discovers that they're actually these weird little brains with tentacles who speak strange and redundant language, and he stops being afraid of them. Especially after seeing the turtles destroy their robotic bodies countless times. Triceratons are also good candidates, but they're dinosaurs, so there's not as much fear and more caution around them. Even after they destroy Earth the first time (although I'm still thinking about a way to modify that part or if Ramón would be in the Space Arc from the beginning. I'm honestly not sure).

But if I had to say who I think is the most terrifying villain… it would definitely be April's Mom. Or the Chimera.

April's Mom just appeared out of nowhere and gave Ramón the creeps. She was just so strange, and he probably would have sided with Mikey and JD that something definitely didn't add up with that woman, but like in the episode, no one would believe them. Or at least not completely. After all, Mikey is Mikey, Ramón is a traumatized 9-year-old, and they've just met JD, so there isn't much trust. Even so, the others end up with doubts, but that doesn't stop April's Mom from finally showing her true colors and eating almost all of them.

The event is definitely another trauma. He would hate that horrible thing.

And something similar would happen with the Chimera, although not as terrifying because he wouldn't be kidnapped, and neither would JD, so the two of them would accompany April and Leo to look for the others. And in the end, everything would turn out alright.

So… yes, April's Mom would be what would scare Ramón the most, especially because no one would have believed him, Mikey, and JD when they warned them about it. I think that would have been the worst part: that the people he thought trusted him, and whom he trusted in return, wouldn't listen to his warning and would almost die. That would definitely be the worst and would make him feel bad for a while. Luckily, Mikey and JD would be with him, so he wouldn't feel so alone in his distress.

What do you think would happen if floydbat appear in the AU, I know you said that you based the floyd bat storyline of the kirbat arc in the 2012 series but I'm just interested what would happen?

Well, I think that might help me with my problem of not knowing how to get Floyd to appear in the series, you know? XD

As I've already mentioned, in this particular version of the AU, Brozone is supposed to be assembled throughout the series starting in season three. JD appears in the Farm Arc, replacing Bigfoot in his respective episode; Clay appears in the Return to Manhattan Arc right at the end, when Kurtzman reunites them with the Mighty Mutanimals (but without Slash, of course, since he doesn't exist in this timeline); and I have a vague idea that Bruce will be introduced in the Space Arc, in an accidental encounter he and JD have in an intergalactic bar where he works.

And then, we have Floyd… who's the most difficult.

However, Bat Floyd. Kirbat was born in the second season alongside Ramón, so for this guy to exist, he would have had to be in New York at that time and somewhere where he could have been exposed to a mutagen bottle while simultaneously coming into contact with bat DNA. And in TMNT 2012, the rules for mutation are strange, but they maintain a basic pattern, unlike in Rise: you need at least one (1) DNA or some kind of foreign organic matter to mutate a creature, depending on the purity of the mutagen, of course. So in Rise, he wouldn't necessarily have to come into contact with bats, which makes the bat aspect more his own thing, in a way, so it's easier to play with that.

But if he were to mutate this way in TMNT 2012, then we'd have a "Floyd Returns" sub-AU, since I honestly can't imagine any of the Brozone members in New York before they reunited with Ramón. Furthermore, I think it would be more difficult to find a way for the guy to come into contact with bats before he touched the mutagen. And thinking of a similar scenario is difficult because I don't think Floyd was specifically on a rooftop surrounded by bats like Kirby was, so it seems unlikely.

Also, the truth is, I don't like the idea of having another crazy bat-man arc. Since we already saw that whole thing with Kirby in a canonical way (and the events of the series remain strictly canon UNTIL the turtles find Ramon, which is when his presence and everything related to him starts to fluctuate), I wouldn't want to repeat the same thing. I mean, besides Kirby, what if Floyd suddenly appears much later and we have to repeat that same song and dance? It doesn't sound fun.

But if he were there, regardless of the circumstances that led to his mutation, he could make an appearance in the fourth season, shortly before it ends. Obviously, Splinter would still be alive and all, so the family would simply discover that there's (another) bat-mutant roaming the city, and the group would have to investigate, though this time they'd have help from the rest of Brozone. Capturing him would be a breeze, given Kirbat's experience, and once they had him safely in custody, all the Brozone brothers would see him and instantly recognize him: Floyd.

After that, all they'd do is take care of him while, once again, Donnie tries to create a retro-mutagen for him. It would probably be difficult, though, since I think by that point in the series, the Kraang were no longer an active threat, so finding mutagen to distill would be a real pain. But again, by this point, the Turtles would have a lot more help than before, so they could find more mutagen, create a retro-mutagen, and turn Floyd back to normal. Meanwhile, taking care of Floyd wouldn't be too difficult, since he'd be just as gentle and kind as ever and would get along very well with his brothers, especially Ramón.

So, sorry, but Bat Floyd wouldn't be a big deal in this version of the AU. :/ At least not if the guy has to mutate for it.

BUT… I recently remembered something. Which I could use as a wild card to finally introduce Floyd into this AU.

And that thing is this: vampires are canon in TMNT 2012.

So, how about a Vampire Floyd? ಠಿ⁠ヮ⁠ಠ

I don't remember how the Halloween episode went because I don't think I ever saw it all the way through, and I still haven't gotten around to finishing the 2012 TMNT series. XD But it's enough for me to know that Vampires are canon creatures in their universe, so, how about this: while traveling outside of New York in recent years, Floyd had a very unfortunate encounter with a Vampire. Maybe a guy he was attracted to and wanted to flirt with, but who instead tried to suck his blood and kill him when they were alone. Somehow, though, Floyd survived the attack and eliminated the vampire who tried to kill him, but according to some rules of vampirism that I don't quite remember, surviving an attack by a vampire's bite took effect, transforming Floyd into a true vampire. Not a zombie vampire or anything like that, as happened in the series because Floyd killed the vampire who turned him, but rather a fully realized and self-aware vampire.

Or well, sort of.

This meant Floyd had to learn to live as a true vampire, which only made his life more complicated than it already was. He would have to learn to drink blood if he didn't want to starve to death, and he wouldn't have the same needs as a normal human. This would force him to distance himself from the few friends he had made on his travels and see himself as a danger to others, causing him to get lost and never contact anyone again. Much less return to New York for fear that his family would discover what happened to him and he might hurt them.

But being a vampire led him to meet other mythological creatures and cryptids who ended up helping him, and eventually Floyd began to control and get used to his new powers and physical needs. Even so, he never felt confident enough to return home or look for his brothers, but the idea of outliving them as a vampire terrified him, and he found himself conflicted about wanting to see them but not being able to.

Then came the fifth season of the series and the whole zombie vampire thing in New York. Obviously, news would travel fast, and Floyd wouldn't hesitate to return alone to make sure his family was alright. Upon arriving in the city, strange accidents began to occur with stray animals found dead without their blood, and this would obviously attract the attention of the Hamatos and the rest of Brozone. And since both sides were looking for each other, it wouldn't be long before they met. Naturally, the turtles would be the first to encounter Floyd and assume he was dangerous and hostile. Perhaps because Floyd hadn't fed yet, which would cause him to become a little aggressive against his will. But once they captured him and Floyd calmed down a bit, he would be able to explain to the guys that he didn't actually want to hurt anyone and that he was just looking for his family.

Obviously, the turtles wouldn't believe him and would look at him suspiciously, wary because of what happened on Halloween, but Mikey could definitely look the boy in the eye and say, "Come on, dudes, he's just a guy. Besides, he doesn't look anything like Dracula. He seems nice."

Raph (threatening Floyd with wooden stakes): We're not going through this again, Mikey. No way am I ever going back to being a vampire!

Donnie (armed with holy water sprays): Me neither.

Floyd (completely calm despite the fact that he could be killed at any moment): Ah, I see you guys suffered through the zombie vampire thing... I'm really sorry. I bet it wasn't pleasant.

Raph: Of course not! And I'm not going to let it happen again!

Floyd: I promise you it won't. I don't even know how to do that. Or turn someone into a normal vampire, for that matter. I don't even know how I ended up like this.

Leo (raising an eyebrow): You don't know how you became a vampire?

Floyd: Well, yes and no. I used to be a normal human until a few months/years ago when I met a guy at a party, but he turned out to be a vampire who wanted to suck my blood to death, and, well… I'm still not sure how, but I killed him. Although he bit me first. And well… I ended up like this. But I swear I don't want to hurt anyone! I've been avoiding people ever since I found out I need blood to survive.

Leo: So why are you in New York? I don't think I need to mention that humans have been noticing your chupacabra act.

Floyd (nervous and embarrassed): Haha, yeah… sorry, but you know, I need blood to live. I hate doing it, but animal blood keeps me from going crazy for human blood.

Leo: And why are you here…?

Floyd: My family. I haven't seen them in a few years, and since I became a vampire, I'm terrified to go back, but I heard what happened on Halloween and I got scared, so I decided to come and check things out.

Raph: And they're not vampires, right?

Floyd: Oh my God, I hope not! Being a vampire is awful.

Donnie/Raph: You don't say.

Floyd: But that's why I'm here. I just… want to make sure they're okay. I don't even plan on making contact with them. Just watching them from a distance is enough. And then I'll leave town, I promise.

The turtles exchanged glances and briefly discussed it, with Mikey insisting on helping his potential new friend, until they finally decided to give him a chance. With that, the four of them freed Floyd and decided to lend him a hand.

Floyd (happily): Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.

Raph: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just don't bite anyone, okay?

Mikey: Don't be like that, Raph. Oh, by the way! My name is Mikey. And this is my brothers. That's Donnie, this is Leo, and the grumpy one is Raph.

Floyd (giggles): Brothers, huh? You seem to get along well.

Mikey: Of course, dude! They're the best. And after so many adventures, I don't know what I'd do without them.

Floyd: Wow, I wish it had been like that with mine, but… *sigh* I guess not everyone is meant to be that way.

Mikey (interested): You have brothers?

Floyd: Yeah, I have four. Although the older ones left home before me, so I don't know if they're still here in Manhattan. For now, I'm just looking for my little brother and my grandma.

Mikey: And what's your little brother's name?

Floyd: Ramon Lake. And I'm Floyd Lake, by the way.

So the Hamatos had to do a double take, because those two names had simply been repeated countless times over the past few years, and they definitely couldn't believe they were standing in front of the Lake they'd been missing.

Obviously, it would be Mikey who would connect the dots and immediately explode with excitement because, this was Ramon's last missing brother! He was finally here to reunite with the rest of the family! Obviously, he wouldn't let anyone explain and would grab Floyd and take him straight to the Lair without a second thought, and the rest of the guys would just argue on the way there about whether what he was doing was a good idea and if the chances were really that high. But Mikey was already sending a message to the group chat, and now everyone is at home waiting for the four of them to arrive with their new and unknown guest.

And then, Mikey faces the crowd and presents Floyd to them as if he were a great treasure, and Brozone is in shock because—that IS Floyd!

JD: Flo-flo!

Bruce: Floyd!

Clay: Lil bro!

Floyd: Guys?!

The older brothers simply drop everything and run to the vampire boy, overjoyed to see him, and simply hug him. Floyd is a jumble of questions and emotions, but he's genuinely happy to see his older brothers after so long and is already crying. But there are only three of them. One is missing. Where is his little brother?

Ramon: Floyd…?

Then the world stops and his older brothers step back to let him through. A small boy, similar to the mutant turtles that had captured him, was behind what looked like a rat-man in a bathrobe, half-hidden behind him. He looked at him with shyness and hope, a little bit of fear. His features weren't really very recognizable and his scent was confusing, but his eyes…

Those big, beautiful gray eyes…

Floyd would recognize those eyes anywhere, and again, the vampire would be crying.

Floyd: Ramón…

Floyd falls to his knees and opens his arms, and can only cry tears of joy and relief as a small, scaly body crashes into him. He has questions. So many questions. And he knows the others do too, but in that moment, after so long, he finally felt whole. He was finally happy. He was finally with his family.

He was finally home.

So, everything else could be worked out later.

This is an interaction I have in my head between JD and slash:

Slash: uh who's the giant armadillo?

John Dory/ Armodrillo: who me? Heh You can just call me armodrillo

Everyone (except mickey): *groans and face palms*

Ramòn: I can't believe you use that name jd

Slash: wait jd? As in john dory?

John Dory/ Armodrillo: The one and only! And if you're wondering yeah the same one from brozone

Donnie: did he really just confirm his identity in front of everybody.....

Everyone: yes.....

Slash: huh well thanks for revealing that important information because I can finally do this

John Dory/ Armodrillo: Do wha-?

(John gets punched in the face)

Slash: That was for the kid

John Dory/ Armodrillo: *groans in pain* yeah I deserve that

Oh yeah, if Slash existed in this AU (in the main timeline), he would definitely do that. XD And yeah, JD is dumb enough to confirm his identity to a stranger if asked directly. I think it would take him a while to get used to the whole thing about having a name for his other form, since even in Brozone he wouldn't have had to exactly hide his identity. :V Also, it would take him a while to get used to social interactions again. Almost four years of solitude in a forest would affect him a lot…

On the other hand, yeah, he would accept any blow he received. And not just because he could withstand Slash's punches and survive thanks to his mutation. He would definitely admit that he was a total idiot and even encourage Slash to hit him harder next time. Just because he knows he deserves it. XD

If slash did get mutated as normal how would he feel about branch?

I think Slash would really like Ramón and wouldn't have taken long to grow fond of him, and not just because in the short time they would have known each other during his pre-mutation, Ramón would have been a really nice caretaker. As we saw in the series, Slash attacked Raph's brothers because Raph had the bad habit of venting his anger towards them to Spike. Then, when the mutagen came into play, it stirred things up a bit in Slash's head (as was implied much later), and after a while and a couple of lessons from Raph, he returned to be an ally and got along relatively well with the rest of the turtles.

So, I think Slash would get along very well with Ramón because, from the beginning, Raph would really like Ramón and openly express how worried he is about the boy and how much he likes him. In short, Raph's opinion would affect Slash's judgment shortly after his mutation, so he would be the only turtle Slash wouldn't attack because he would consider him "on his side" (aside from Raph). And then, when his newly mutated brain stabilized, he would begin to form his own real bond with Branch, who would still be an adorable kid despite everything. The two could chat, and perhaps Branch would have many questions about what it feels like to mutate from an animal into a more conscious being, and Slash wouldn't have any problem answering because by then he would know that Branch is a really curious kid.

And on a slightly more subtle note, it's very likely that Branch reminds him of a younger Raph. It's never revealed how long Raph has had Spike as a pet—maybe recently, maybe for years—but Slash could definitely see some of Raph's traits in Branch, and that could make him nostalgic. Like how sarcastic he is, but at the same time, how he's the sweetest kid around. Their relationship could be like that of a very close uncle and nephew, especially since, as far as I can tell, Slash is technically an adult, regardless of his age.

Do you think that branch meet slash when he was a little turtle or when he's already mutated?

Well, since you brought it up, I was actually thinking that Ramón's presence might affect Slash's existence.

As I mentioned in the first questions of this version, Ramón mutates and is found by April and the turtles practically a month later. Since I personally prefer watching the seasons progress by year instead of a strange, rushed two-year period that compartmentalizes the first four seasons, there would be a longer time between each episode than usual. I don't remember exactly when Spike's mutation occurred, but Ramón would appear before that happened and would only know Slash as Raph's pet turtle.

And as I've also been mentioning, Ramón's presence (and consequently Brozone's and perhaps other characters') could radically change certain events, relationships, and character development.

In Slash's case, since Ramón would have appeared before the Slash and Destroy episode, he would have known Spike as Raph's pet, and that would have helped Ramón and Raph get along. Even though Shelliot died in this universe, he was very important to Ramón, and he would quickly remember him upon seeing Spike. Raph feels sympathy for the boy and his briefly deceased pet, so he would teach him how to care for Spike and let the boy play with him. Also, to build trust, he might ask Ramón to do him the favor of watching Spike when Raph isn't around, and Ramón would be very diligent in this task.

Then, by the time the Slash episode aired, the same accident in which Spike was almost hurt could have occurred. However, it wasn't just Raph who was angry about it and complained to Splinter, but Ramón as well. Even though he barely knows them, he also tells Donnie he needs to be more careful with his things, and goes with Raph to his room. There, he makes sure Spike is okay, and Raph isn't so upset knowing that, at least for that one time, he has someone with him.

However, Mikey comes to ask Raph for help cleaning, so he reluctantly goes. And since Ramon is there, Raph asks him to look after Spike and keep an eye on the mutagen bottle.

And well, it's thanks to Ramon's presence that the mutagen doesn't spill and Spike doesn't get near it and mutate, thus ensuring that Slash never exists in this universe and remains just Raph's pet for much longer. In the end, since Spike didn't mutate, the conflict between Raph and the others is eventually resolved with Ramon's help, and well, everything ends quite well.

So, I'm afraid there's no Slash in this AU. Sorry to the fans. :V But you know, I'm literally introducing new characters to this universe, so it makes sense that changes like this, and many others, happen. Oh well, what can you do? ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Ok this just occur to me now and possibly will not happen, but I just have a though what if Chris Bradford used to be john dory, Bruce and/ or clay's old bully, like he would often laugh at them just for being in a Boy band, beat them up and calling them losers it will be interesting if during a fight rahzar would feel that he recognize armodrillo anywhere and when JD starts being cocky that's when rahzar recognize him:

I'm not going to lie, this sounds pretty fun. XD But the problem would be the age difference. If you notice, not much actually happens between the night Brozone split up and the moment they reunited with Branch. Unlike the other versions of this AU, at most 4 or 5 years pass before Branch and JD reunite, and the same goes for the rest of their siblings. That is to say, the time they're separated is shorter. In the Trolls version, the 20 years of the movies pass. In the Rise version, roughly 10 years pass. And here it's less than 10 years, maybe 8 or 9 years, or even less if you stick more closely to the canon timeline of the 2012 TMNT series, where the 4-5 seasons take place over 2 years.

In the first season, Bradford appears to be in his 30s, almost 40s. While JD is much younger. The ages I've considered for Brozone in the universes where they're human are roughly as follows:

JD: 20 years old

Bruce: 18 years old

Clay: 16 years old

Floyd: 14-15 years old

Ramón: 4 years old

So, in the first season of TMNT (2012), about 3 years would have passed, and their ages wouldn't have changed much.

JD: 23 years old

Bruce: 21 years old

Clay: 19 years old

Floyd: 17-18 years old

Ramón: 7 years old

And when Ramón and JD meet, their ages are:

JD: 25 years old

Bruce: 23 years old

Clay: 21 years old

Floyd: 19-20 years old

Ramón: 9 years old

Or at least that's my approximation. (⁠^⁠～⁠^⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ But as you can see, Brozone is still quite young compared to the other versions of the AU, where they're more settled and responsible adults in their respective lives. Here they're still young idiots, but slightly more mature than their selves from when the boy band broke up.

So, I don't think Bradford and JD knew each other in school. Besides, Bradford was personally trained by Shredder, probably from a very young age or in his teens, so it's highly unlikely that Bradford even went to school. XD He was probably trained entirely by Shredder in his teens, somehow got into college, maybe dropped out and created his own chain of Dojos to secretly recruit new members for the Foot Clan in the United States. In short, it would have been impossible for them to know each other outside of the world of fame, and even then, it would have been a very vague encounter. That is, maybe JD heard about the new karate dojo that opened in this neighborhood from that guy who was famous and whose shows he watched on TV occasionally, but he had more important things to do than sign up for karate classes. The same would be true for Bradford. He'd be too busy with his shady dealings to even notice this little group of singing kids.

…But Bradford must have definitely heard some of their songs and thought they were good. Either of his own accord or because that's what he found on his car radio on his way home after a long day at work or something. But other than that, he never paid attention to the members, so he wouldn't have had any idea who JD was or even seen him in person until he met Armodrillo, and Armodrillo would definitely kick his ass without needing to be a ninja or have any formal training.

What does branch feels about splinter?

I think at first he would have been a little scared of him, honestly. XD Not because Splinter was bad or anything, but because Branch is this shy, distrustful kid who looks at Splinter and, aside from seeing a rat, sees a very tall, unknown man who exudes a strange, stern energy. And that's what makes him nervous. Branch isn't used to being around such serious adults, and when he is, he feels self-conscious.

But little by little, his opinion would change as things warmed up between them. Especially since, initially, Branch would be very attached to Mikey and Leo (the best at dealing with kids), and these two would speak very highly of Splinter and convince him that it's okay for Branch to go with him if he needs something and they aren't around. This is further reinforced by the fact that the boys would obviously leave him in the Lair when they went out on a mission, leaving him in Splinter's care. And Splinter knows that children Ramon's age shouldn't be left unsupervised (thanks to his experience with four turtles in particular), so at the very least, he would try to be in the same room with him to keep an eye on him or offer to do some quiet activity, like having tea or playing a board game.

Branch wouldn't feel very comfortable spending much time with Splinter, but being shy and not having many options, he wouldn't want to be rude, so he would play along. Little by little, he would gain confidence around the rat-man and begin to form his own opinion of him. He would still find him a very stern and intimidating man, but kind and very pleasant. Especially since they both shared the experience of having been humans who mutated and lost their families, only to end up there. As in the Rise Version, they would both feel some sympathy for each other and would probably connect by sharing their respective experiences as mutants.

Their relationship deepens when Branch gains enough confidence to directly ask Splinter to teach him martial arts. Splinter hesitates for a moment, but if this boy is going to live with them, it's best that he also receive some training to avoid problems. This way, they'll both spend more time together and interact in a different way than they normally would.

Eventually, as things feel more natural between them, Branch reveals his sweeter, more affectionate side and doesn't hesitate to approach Splinter when he wants to know something. Also, despite developing a good deal of respect for him, Branch occasionally lets slip a bit of his sarcasm and sharper attitude, but only when he sees the nonsense in Splinter's lessons or questions him. This could complicate their relationship a little, but I think they'll both manage quite well with each other as time goes on.
