Trad yoga is littered with gruesome adjustments that are a) ineffective b) dangerous c) seemingly there to show the INSTRUCTOR in their best light (?!) or d) for unsavoury ulterior motives. We here at FYP won't tolerate any of the above. We utilise adjustments and teach them as part of our Foundation 200 hour teacher training program (next one starts Apr 2018), but they are safe, smart, efficient, respectful and tailored to the needs of the individual stude. As we posted a seated forward fold progression yesterday, here's an adjustment for someone who's already warm (at FYP, this position occurs about half way thru a class) and who already has a relatively deep forward fold but who want to develop it further. Note that Anna's movement on Mark here is gently FORWARDS from the low/mid back, NOT down on the upper back.
