guys. do u wonder how long russell waited for ed to come back. he screamed at him to come back but we dont see him ever again since then. do u think he knew anything that happened or do u think he and fletcher went home before they knew and no one bothered to find them??? that's probably what happened that is so sad. they weren't best friends by any means but it's clear that russell and fletcher cared about the elrics. they couldn't even have talked to al because he wouldn't have remembered them. and he wouldn't have even heard any stories unless they were to ones to tell him. what if they went back to central to find al and he wasn't there??? they would have no way of finding him in resembool becoz they had no clue the elrics live there. wow. i'm sad now guys
so in the 2003 fma, it's at least implied (maybe outright stated? it's been long enough i don't remember) that dante is the one who names the homunculi.
from a meta perspective, it's symbolic of notable flaws of their creators, and maybe dante means it that way too, but really think about the implications.
when hohenheim tried to bring their son back to life, made a fucked up clone instead, and then ditched them, she named the clone envy. was she planning on the seven deadly sins theme, did she only name him later when she came up with it, or did she call him that from the start due to his nature as "almost my son but not quite" and then came up with the theme later? regardless of the reason, it's kinda fucked up.
and then later she made a clone of one of her dead lovers and called him greed. was she subtly admitting to her own greedy nature, or was she basically calling him a gold digger?

Weeb rogue au just got deep.
Fma made me miss my older sibling after i went off to college and binged it while prepping for finals i had a moment after an episode where i just wished i could have gone and hugged them but they were miles and miles away. I imagine rogue had some similar feelings while watching this series.
