So I went to the doctor the other day for this respiratory infection and also to get a refill on my antianxiety meds. Since this is a new doc in a new state, we went over all my meds and stuff, including my Mirena. He asked me how it was working for me and I expressed how happy I am with it. "Oh, there was a couple of weeks were I was spotting every day. That was a little weird but everything's been fine since."
It just occurred to me that I nonchalantly mentioned bleeding nonstop for 2 solid weeks. If this were any other part of my body, I would have been hospitalized.
Having a functioning uterus is weird.
