After watching The Magnificent Seven, I’m absolutely craving something old-west-y and this is what I came up with. A woman wanted for the murder of her husband, his eldest son and his three brothers sent a small town spiraling, the words ‘armed and dangerous’ being tacked onto her name. But after the brutal killings of the Briggs brood, she seemingly disappeared into thin air (after robbing the home and corpses blind, of course) but the bounty on her head was more than enough to tempt any bounty hunter, warrant officer or regular ol’ man alike. Hidden under the guise of what she liked to call “less than truths,” she managed to find herself miles and miles away from home thanks to some disguising and a horse she’d stolen from a neighbor’s barn. With men’s clothes, a deepened voice and some ruddiness added to her face with whatever dirt, grime or false hair she could acquire, she was amazed at her own luck. Masquerading as a boy hardly meeting the age of fifteen was next to her only option, considering her small stature and relatively young age herself. But somehow, she found herself navigating other prospect and mining towns with ease. She slid into saloons and old towne shops and never raised a single question, no one questioning a young man simply looking for a good time and maybe some hard work(not usually the latter, though, to be honest). A woman accustomed to the finer things in life due to a wealthy upbringing and married life, it was a hard adjustment to struggling to fill her belly and being sore, hot and tired from riding her horse and exploring the “the great wide somewhere.” But she soon learned that cards were her game and she wasn’t a bad shot (well, she knew that already), leading to deceptive practices that earned more money than she could have expected. After all, no one expected much of a small statured boy who still had a crack in their voice. This could go one of two ways...or both of two ways. One being that she gets on the wrong side of some seasoned gambler/swindler that learns her tricks pretty quick and she cheats him out of some money. Some things can lead to another, and then she’s either stuck trying to repay a debt or is convinced to become a duo in swindling other people. Then there’s obviously the fun of the fact that she’s obviously not a young man having to come into play at some point, and the bounty over her head. Another way could obviously be with a warrant officer or bounty hunter trying to drag her back for the bigger bounty of her being brought back alive. I’m down for either, really, and I’m d y i n g for something along these lines. I’ve fabricated the female character for quite some time now, and I’d love to be able to play her. As for faceclaims I’d want to use, she has always been Phoebe Tonkin or Caitlin Stacey...but I’m open to some new faces. As for faceclaims I’d want to play against, I’m really really leaning towards Chris Pratt. Michael Fassbender is high up on the list. But, obviously, this is negotiable!

plot 001 “I technically signed up for this”
Muse A is basically the epitome of “don’t need no man” and “too busy for romance”. She’s romantically hopeless and so used to being the embodiment of “strong independent woman” that she’s had time to build a successful career on her own. Fast forward to Muse A’s thriving thirties, her biological clock starts ticking. Muse A becomes desperate to have kids on her own so she gets artificially inseminated. Although, Muse A is secretly lives in fear and doubt. Without a family or much people to really call as “friends”, she’s afraid she’s in danger of failing miserably as a mother, or just external dangers being pregnant and all. SO! She opens her home to a renter ‘cause she doesn’t want to be alone during the downs of pregnancy. She offers a room and in return she gets a companion helper during her 9 month journey.
Muse B is struggling. He got kicked out of his apartment because he lost his shitty job and couldn’t pay his rent. Muse B’s been living like a hooligan for most of his life (if you’re familiar with Keith from our favorite preteeny book of all time “13 Little Blue Envelopes”, then that’s him) and doesn’t conform to 9-5 jobs. He comes across Muse A’s ad for a cheap room. They discuss and he thinks “hmm that won’t be so hard and I get everything for free!” so he accepts her condition and lives with her.
plot 002 “I didn’t sign up for this”
Muse A and Muse B meet at a wild party one summer. They were two sexually-charged 20-somethings who couldn’t stay away from each other that night.
Muse A gets pregnant but she didn’t tell Muse B because they didn’t get each other’s number nor were they interested in anything serious. Nonetheless, Muse A decided to keep the baby and raised the child herself.
Fast forward to 7 years later, Muse A makes a big move with her only child to a new state/country. She gets called to school one day for whatever reason. When she walked into the classroom she recognises Muse B sitting behind the teacher’s desk. Muse B recognises her too.
plot 003 “I’m signing up for this”
Muse A’s so desperate to have a baby but she doesn’t have a husband nor a boyfriend. She scanned through all the options but none of them appealed to her.
Muse B, who has been Muse A’s good friend for a very long time, feels sympathy towards Muse A who cannot find the right person to build a family with. Since Muse B was conveniently single at the time, he volunteers to help Muse A out.
They have a drunken baby-making session, because they’ve decided that baby-making while sober is too awkward.
Muse A gets pregnant, and thus the joys of pregnancy begins... she also accidentally falls in love with the father of her child. yikes.
plot 004 “WHY ARE YOU SIGNING UP FOR THIS?!”
Muse A, in her early thirties, wants a baby but she doesn’t want to get married (*bretman rock voice* commitment issues or whatevah) so she marches into a clinic and upfront tells Muse B, the hunky doctor, that she wants to get inseminated. And fast.
Muse B, surprised to hear such a reasonably young and attractive woman make such a request, tries to convince her to not waste shitloads of money and to conceive the “natural way”. Muse A is just not having it from him. Muse B obliges to Muse A’s wishes, and ends up taking care of her throughout the entire pregnancy all for the name of being a good doctor and well.. she’s single, living alone, funny, attractive, and everything he realised he’s ever wanted

A lil quick fantasy/royal court sort of plot bunny;
Born in poverty but with gifted with auspicious (or frightening) magic, the sorceress is brought to court as a young girl, where she is reared among the peerage by a patron, who occasionally requires her to practice her magic for them on their behalf. Her birth might be common but her powers and her mischievous charm make it fashionable to be seen with her. She is self-absorbed, preoccupied with status and fashion, and thanks to her indulgent (if demanding) patron, a little spoiled, but these are all traits she has developed to survive in her environment and to fit in.
And her counterpart, the knight, the second or third son of old and proud nobility, taken from his home at a young age as a sort of tithe to the holy order of the holy valiant and raised in their ascetic, warlike tradition, away from the glamour of the court that was his birthright. He is honorable and wise, but judgmental of the vanities and unrelenting in his condemnation of them. He has been indoctrinated with the dogma of the order, and to him, sorcery is a mere half-step from outright sin.
It could be that in the wake of a terrible tragedy involving one of the more ambitious court sorcerers and his treasonous patron, the bishops have persuaded the king, or other ruling power, to assign one of the valiants to watch for signs of manipulation or misuse of magic ... or maybe there is some other force that makes these two come together, anyway, the idea is that they have to work in tandem against the court that dislikes him and mistrusts her ... while mutually (at the start?) disliking and mistrusting each other.
I would play either character in this scenario! Someone who is also down for a little healthy dose of worldbuilding would be great.
Muse A sees Muse B every day on the way home from work/college. Muse A is a normal person who lives a normal life, who goes from home to work/college to home and rarely strays from the path of boring. Muse B is one of those people you see on the side of the road with the cardboard signs asking for money. Except that Muse B has no sad puppy eyes, no depressed footsteps past car after car; they have a wide smile, an alternative style, and they're just having a good time juggling on the side of the road with a small sign sitting by their backpack that reads: wanderlust. Muse A almost never passes Muse B without offering enough bills for a meal.
Then one day, Muse B just isn't there anymore. While irrational- after all, the sign basically said Muse B was travelling- Muse A can't help but worry that something happened to Muse B. Bad things happen to people on the streets after all! So Muse A goes to social media, posting a description of Muse B and asking for someone to just let them know Muse B is alive and well.
Outcome: Muse B happens to see the updates from Muse A, and gets in touch with Muse A to let them know they're alright. They strike up a long distance friendship, and Muse B tells Muse A all about their worldly travels, trying to entice Muse A into someday joining them.
Alternative Outcome: Muse B is touched Muse A cared so much and since they're still in the city, they decide to surprise Muse A and show up at their regular spot. Muse A pulls to the light and calls for Muse B from their car, babbling about how worried they were. Both Muses exchange contact information, and Muse B offers to stay in town a few extra nights if Muse A wants to get dinner and hang out, get to know each other.
