I am not really getting the full experience of your horror polls bc I refuse to update tumblr mobile but from what I’m hearing the people that can’t distinguish between a good first movie and a good franchise is driving me insane!! Saw is a solid franchise overall unlike Halloween but I’m even gonna be a f13 defender because imagery from multiple movies over the course of its run has become iconic. Jason didn’t even have the hockey mask in the first ones, the movies are shit sure but now that’s a franchise
first thing come to tumblr polls with me brother!!!! theyre so fun. hit buttons, get mad. etc. but yes yes yes i agree with a lot of this, i think f13 is weaker than some of the others left but there are some really strong components like the imagery that some franchises just dont have any claim to. f13 is not really Good but there is something about it that compels clearly
