More awkward Rohan-in-love headcanons!

-At first, Rohan can be a bit of a stubborn idiot when it comes to having secret feelings for someone. He considers it an annoyance that he can’t put words towards. All he knows is that he can’t focus on his work like normal. He lolligags and doodles pretty sketches. At first they’re sketches of pleasant things like flowers or butterflies. Eventually he ends up sketching pictures of his newfound object of affection, s/o. He sketches out poses, outfits, and scenarios that he’s created in his mind from daydreams.

-After so many absent-minded drawings, he’s surprised to find his new sketchbook is completely filled now. At first he scoffs. “Impossible! I just bought this a few days ago!” But he fingers through the pages and realizes that s/o has filled up a majority of them. It takes a lot to humble Rohan Kishibe, but this definitely does it. 

-From then on, he acts incredibly awkward around s/o. But to the outside, he simply seems cold and stand-offish, easily spooked. S/o makes him nervous. He’s not used to feeling vulnerable. He’s so successful; he’s been used to endless praises and fame for awhile, as well as living alone happily and productively. The fact that s/o is disrupting him in so many aspects is threatening to him. 

-So when s/o is around, he immediately tenses up; he wordlessly wants s/o to just approach him themself. Rejection is something Rohan does not enjoy dealing with. 

-At first, Rohan loves conversations with s/o, finding them engaging and grounded, as well as someone he can just sit quietly with while he sketches. But once he realizes that he has feelings for them, his behavior changes and becomes more fine-tuned. He notices the adorable way their eyes sparkle when they smile at him, the way the light of the sunset creates a beautiful color on their skin, the way their hair frames their face in the most perfect way…when Rohan gets fixated on something he considers lovely, he gets fixated all the way.

-If s/o touches him in a friendly way or brushes up against him accidentally, he’s going to freeze up and squint his eyes, appearing annoyed, but he’s actually flustered. But of course s/o doesn’t know this yet and apologizes, with Rohan usually just instructing them to hush or shooing away their apology, unable to look them in the eye, or even ignoring it flat-out. He just wants to draw them. He just wants to draw them…and kiss them…and touch them…and…

-He considers writing a love letter at some point. He even perks up at the idea of creating a beautiful illustration for his s/o as a present to accompany his confession. Brilliant! He starts on one many times, but they never come out perfect enough for him. He would much prefer the subject themself to model for him. This causes a lot of crumpled papers littering his studio.

Oh… I must have missed that announcement cause I had no idea it wasn’t released yet (⊙ - ⊙ ;;)
