you are not crazy. that law degree is trying to kill you. there is an active pursuit on your head.
i am writing an administrative law exam in a few hours, yet i have dutied myself with the goings-on of tumblr. a job that will cost me gravely but is worth it in the meantime.
my campus view is coming in clutch. hold on..
you spend at least 20% of your time on campus trying to find a place to sit.

i remember back in 2017 when i first joined debating, the first clip of a debate that i ever saw in my 14-year old life, which also happens to be the speech that made me fall in love with the sport, was the wudc 2016 thessaloniki open final and part of bo's argument was how private property, a fundamental to capitalism, is a principle assault of the human. i think earl sweatshirt's mom, prof. cheryl harris does a beautiful job (29:34 in) to actually contextualising that argument and proving the principle through a real world case.
what's also hilarious about tumblr is how "BREAKING NEWS!" on other platforms isn't necessarily "BREAKING NEWS!" here. everyone on my instagram, tiktok and twitter is losing their minds on a couple of millionaires making horrible life decisions and the tumblr community is more invested in self-reflective posts about how receptive they are to refugees from a fellow shadow-dwelling platform.
another thing: me using tumblr just doesn't make sense for where i am, my age and demographic but this is the best part about it. i loved raving to my friends, who have never been on here, about knives out, and all the different takes from here. i loved sending them the Daniel Cesar memes. right now i am enjoying sending them 10 minutes long contextual voice notes on the reddit migration.
