Itâs not like he and Louis were a couple. No, they might have been a lot of thingsâbest mates and colleagues with a seemingly convenient friends-with-benefits arrangementâbut never a couple. It wasnât Louisâ fault he didnât feel the same way and couldnât reciprocate Harryâs feelings in the way heâd wanted, the way heâd needed. Harry had allowed himself to get in too deep, his entire being aching to be loved back by the object of his affections. But in love, as in life, you donât always get what you want.
OR the one where you donât always get what you want the first time around, but sometimes the universe decides to give you a second chance at getting it right.

Louis didnât always feel like he had to hide. His family had known he would likely present as an omega from the time he was young and, despite the fact that male omegas were rare and had all the usual prejudices against them plus some, his loved ones were always caring and supportive.
Looking back on it, Louis sees quite clearly that had things gone differently, had three very specific scenes in his past played out with even a slight adjustment, he would likely be living his life as a happy and out male omega. Dwelling on that too often wasnât good for him, though, because the fact was, they had happened. The outcome had been what got him where he was today: in the middle of a world tour feeling absolutely exhausted and needy, but not being able to tell anyone, not even his bandmates.
Or the one where Louis is an omega pretending to be a beta, but what happens when Harry, his (pining) alpha best friend, learns his secret?

As Harry lay by Louisâ side, covered in sweat and come, he knew he should feel ugly, messy, ruined, like the life heâd left behind. But something about the way Louis looked at him, the way his eyes stared at him with want and awe, made Harry wonder if heâd ever feel this beautiful again.
Harry rolled his eyes at himself for his momentary romantic dreaminess. As good as this was, he knew it was nothing more than sex. He literally couldnât afford to fall for just anyone, no matter how fit they were.
What Harry Styles wanted was to be taken seriously as an artist.
What he needed was a new sugar daddy to pave the way.
Louis Tomlinson is an artist who isnât what Harry is looking for.
Somehow he still manages to turn Harry's world upside down.

Harry would like to think that he doesnât know how he got himself into this. Only⊠heâd be lying. Because he knows exactly how he got himself into this. Oh man, does he know, and itâs all because of a certain Louis Tomlinson.
Alternatively - football is gay and Harry is trying to cope.

Harry lives a lifetime without Louis until he finds him in the 1930s. Heâs drawn to him like the Louis he had fallen for over 100 years ago. They get close but in the end, as long as Louis is human, Harry has to let him go. He watches Louis age and eventually in the 80âs he passed of old age.
It's been twelve years since Louis had passed away. Twelve years that Harry hasn't felt him, hasn't been able to sense him. His other half is gone. They were soul mates. Aren't soulmates supposed to live long happy ever after?
9-Carry This Feeling by @dimpled_halo, @awriterwrites
Thereâs something about Louis Tomlinson that makes Harry feel unhinged. Itâs in the other manâs stare, in the way he looks at Harry like he knows heâs hiding something. Like heâs not really all he says he is.
Harryâs not so sure itâs fear heâs feeling. Maybe itâs something deeper. Ever since Louis walked into his house, heâs felt on edge. Heâs just being himself after all, and thatâs usually enough to get just about anyone to drop their pants. But...itâs clearly not working on Louis Tomlinson. It dredges up something oily and unpleasant inside Harry. He doesnât like it.
Heâs got to lock that shit down tight.

Harry knows, objectively, that he shouldn't try to get his ghostwriter into bed. He knows. But...he finds it hard to resist temptation when Louis waltzes into his home and his life and turns everything upside down. And, as it turns out, Louis might just need a little turning upside down too.
