I am currently reading a book on photographs that have made an impact in the world and this is the first time I have ever heard of the Armenian Genocide. It is the most horrendous thing I have ever seen and read about. How people can be so cruel and hateful goes beyond my understanding. If you have never heard of this before I suggest you do your research. It saddens me to know that in my ignorance of the moment I never cared to learn more about the past horrors in order to try and better what today is, and what tomorrow will hold. β Who speaks today of the Armenian massacres?β If an evil soul such as Adolfo Hitler can recognize such an event how can we not? Not only did this occur a hundred years ago, but history has a tendency to repeat itself and once again Armenians are being persecuted as they once were. Help raise awareness of the ancestors of the original Armenian Genocide.
