Garvez story
I am willing to bet anything you want that this kid is somewhere on Tumblr
I’m not going to lie. The prospect of Chelsey’s all denim look scares me. I’m getting a flashback to that picture of Britney and Justin at some VMA in the early 2000s.
At this point, I'm Project Runway's most popular bottom.
Tyler being both sad and funny about his standing in the competition

his hair... pookie is so kissable here
Project Runway: 18.4 The Ultimate Upcycle (Bottom Looks)
Designer: Tyler Neasloney
As much as I dislike the Kushners (and God do I), I feel like everyone got so caught up in Tyler’s burn that we’re ignoring how mad this look is. Karlie has a point. This is not something she could wear in Paris. It feels like a cliche of what women wear in the Hamptons and a discount version at that. Even the styling feels old and tired. Take the model’s hair out of that updo, give her some cooler shoes, and this dress is already 100% better.
Designer: Marquise Foster
Unlike the judges, I didn’t hate this look. In fact, I really liked it. I liked the deconstruction of the pinstripe jacket with the cleanness of the white shirt dress underneath. I would definitely wear a version of this! However, while I admire Marquise and the way he designs, I do not think the craftsmanship was up to par here. If this look was impeccably made, it wouldn’t be on the bottom.
Designer: Shavi Lewis
Again, I disagreed with the judges here. Yes, I do understand that the model can’t walk in the skirt, which is a major problem. However, I’m in love with that pinstripe motorcycle jacket. I want one right away!
Project Runway: 18.4 The Ultimate Upcycle (Safe Looks)
Designer: Delvin McCray
Delvin’s model looks like a fifty-five year old divorcee heading out for cocktails with friends. It’s just way too mature and matronly for such a young model, and so it would age Karlie tremendously. The styling also doesn’t do Delvin’s look any favors. She should have her hair down and a softer lip to youthen it up. Still, Delvin does know how to tailor clothes because this is impeccable work.
Designer: Geoffrey Mac
Geoffrey, you were in Goodwill. You had what is a fortune at Goodwill, and all you made was a two-tone black and grey dress with some fake leather that I have clearly seen before. I could buy this dress at Express. Do better!
Designer: Melanie Trygg
Melanie’s clothes are usually (always) boring, but at least like the play of proportions on this dress. That’s a little interesting. Otherwise, I’ve seen this dress before.
Designer: Sergio Guadarrama
I really hate Sergio. I want to hate this suit, but I don’t. However, I don’t remember how much of this suit he actually made and how much he just tailored. To be fair, it looks good on the model. I like the top with the tie at the bust. Still, I’m not giving Sergio credit for this.
Designer: Brittany Allen
To be fair to Brittany, I feel like she’s one of the few that actually repurposed the clothes she bought instead just tailoring or slightly altering them. I really love the top of the dress, but I despise the layered chiffon with the stick black satin on the bottom. It doesn’t work together.
Designer: Dayoung Kim
Dayoung, I love you, but this is terrible. Objectively, it’s bad. It just looks like she hacked off the sleeves of a jacket and quite a few inches off the pants to create a look no one could wear. Was this a day Dayoung was sick? Because otherwise, I won’t give her a pass.
