We got up at 7 to finish the final few touches. Guests started arriving at around 9:15am. We were supposed to start the service at 10am, but the FIL and T's Pop were running late. I think we ended up starting at around 10:30am.

The service itself was over quickly, and Teddy didn't cry or scream or make much noise at all until right at the end, wheb he was due for a nap. 😊 Our celebrant did an excellent job, and anyone who was at the funeral earlier this year said it was lovely to see her in a positive atmosphere.

We had some nibbles and a BBQ for lunch and the guests slowly dwindled away. Everyone loved the cake (which I unfortunately didn't get a close up of) and the cupcakes I made. 😋

All in all it was a very special and beautiful day, and went exactly how I wanted it to. 💙 Teddy looked so dang cute in his outfit too. 😁
