With my 18th birthday coming up, I thought Iβd share about the Filipino βcoming of ageβ party!
Filipino girls often times have a huge party similar to a quinceΓ±era, but for their 18th birthday. It is actually quite a process! The girl must select 18 important male figures in her life to dance with her, and 18 female figures to deliver a short speech for her. These are respectively her 18 roses and 18 candles!
Now that itβs my time to begin with festivities, I have to come up with a list of people to dance and share a speech with haha. Wish me luck!
