Tearing the notes off of the locker, she crossed the hall to throw them out when she collided with what felt like a wall but was just another human being.

Exactly what she needed. Except not. Startled, the notes fell to the ground and she instantly apologized as she knelt down and started to pick them up. Embarrassment flooded through her and showed on her cheeks.  ”Sorry, sorry.” Beth murmured, hands picking up the notes.
