18 inch doll makeover!
I first saw her on Mercari and immediately fell in love with her.
The listing was for 1997 Meritus Elite Doll, she came with some girls on the go outfits. Something about her really made me fall in love. I wanted her for a really long time and she was up for months and I finally decided on getting her.
This was her whenever I first got her:
You can see in the picture above that her hair has a greenish hue. I noticed this happens with older dolls. Basically the hair decomposes and falls out in chunksπ I was super sad because I loved her hair but I decided to rewig her in a similar shade. Since I had to rewig her I decided to change her eyes as well. I thought they were brown in the pictures but it turns out they were blue but I really liked the idea of the brown.

Heres the progression pics, left to right, before, with , chalk pastel blushing and shading, then line work with acrylic. Sealed with mr super clear! Since she was originally in college wear, I decided she would be college age. This made the face up super fun to do a bolder and more mature look.
