Algunas fuentes apuntan a que el autor del reloj podría ser Ignacio Cerviño, y otras señalan a Xosé Cerviño… Existe el mismo debate con respecto a la autoría del famoso #cruceirodeHío. Desde el año 1956 hasta 2008 permaneció en la casa rectoral por culpa de un accidente con un camión del equipo de rodaje de una película. Al caer el reloj resultó herida una mujer.
