Do you ever feel like children and teens start school a little too late in the day (9am)? Simmers like us pay attention to details and want change, but can't find a mod for it anywhere. So… I whipped this up and I am pretty satisfied. :)

Vehicle Stereo Default Replacement

Makes some cars able to play stereo.

I updated an old mod and created a few new ones I haven’t uploaded yet. So far, I know how to create tuning, xml, and default replacement mods. Scripting is just way beyond my understanding, I tried. I’m sure there are people who are picky like me, who come across little things in the game and go “I wish it was more like this instead”. I want to give a brief introduction of what these mods are and what they do.

1. 17masso_educationhours:

Changes the schedule as to when elementary and high school students attend and dismiss school, along with the education career employees to match and simulate more realistic school hours.

2. 17masso_hospitalprices:

Changes the amount of simoleons certain visits cost and the length of time to simulate a more realistic hospital.

3. 17masso_rabbitholeevents:

Increases likelihood of events to happen such as sing happy birthday in bistros, plays and symphonies in theaters, and concerts and sports games in stadiums.

"I miss being able to blast music while my sims drive in The Sims 2. I wonder why EA ever took that feature away in The Sims 3. This mod isn't perfect, but it was the easiest solution and it works. The script I used is from EA's store content vehicle the Classically Cool Fixer-Upper. Enjoy! All vehicles except motorcycles, bicycles, scooters, boats, police cars, hovers, taxis, relocation rover, service, limos, store content, and custom content work with this mod. If you want other vehicles to have the same functions then use S3PE to copy the script from the Classically Cool Fixer-Upper and replace. If your sims are driving a 4 seat vehicle only 2 sims in the front will be visible. I want to explore the possibility of making the back seats usable, but for now I don't know. Sims will autonomously use different functions of the car that came with the Classically Cool Fixer-Upper script. It will look weird, but there are ways to disable autonomy with Nraas. If this doesn't bother you then you can leave it as is because it doesn't cause any game breaking issues/glitches.

"What are the hours for teachers?

I did not change the hours for every education career level. I only changed the hours for teachers. Any education career level with "Teacher" in it's title will all attend work and dismiss from work at the same hours (7am-4pm).

I made it so that teachers will be at school an hour earlier than all students; unless your children\teens rode the bus. Teachers will still be doing their job when all the students dismiss. I imagine it as meetings and planning the next school day.

This means teachers dismiss work 1 hour after children dismiss and 2 hours after teens dismiss."

Rock 'n' Rock Stereo Default Replacement by 17masso

"The Rock 'n' Rock stereo was a creative addition to the Outdoor Living Stuff stuff pack, but it has one annoying problem. If you want more than one rocky stereo in the same room playing at the same time then two different songs play even though they are on the same station. The music clashes which sounds horrible.

Rock 'n' Rock Stereo Default Replacement

Tweaks the "Rock N' Rock Stereo" (from Outdoor Living SP) to play simultaneously if multiple items are placed.
