I’m Denise, 19 years old and from Germany. I’d love to form some long-lasting friendships, exchange letters and just connect with all kinds of people :-) I don’t have any preferences (as in age, gender, country), but it would be pretty cool if you are relatively fluent in English (my English isn’t perfect either, but I’d say it’s fluent enough? :-D).

A bit about myself: I like drowning my brain in music, the meditative state my mind takes on while I draw and losing myself in stories which are not my own. I like the feeling of a fluffy blanket around me. A hot shower. A warm cup of tea between my palms, warm rain on skin and crying.

I’m very passionate about movies (mostly dramatic and/or historical ones, also oldies!), TV Shows (i.e. Sherlock, GoT), books (Sherlock Holmes, Memoirs of a Geisha, Fairytales) and poetry (Cummings, Shakespeare, Bukowski, Neruda). I love art, but I’m not really an expert in that area; don’t know that many artists although I’m really interested :-) I also love singing. I do it often and loudly and I will probably have problems with my neighbours in the future lol!

Heyyy. I’m Melissa. I’m 18 and from England, although I speak a bit of German and am hoping to learn Italian next year as part of my uni course.

OK, so about me. I consider myself a reasonably creative person and I really love sewing and painting and basically anything that I can try in order to express creativity. One of my main aims is to make those amazing fantasy dresses that you can get (look up firefly path and you’ll get where I’m coming from), although I mostly stick to kind of simple cosplay things for now.

I also really like reading and literature. My favourite author atm is probably Kazuo Ishiguro, and if you haven’t read any of his work, I would highly recommend ‘Never Let Me Go’. (deep shit)

I’m also really into music. I play piano and also kind of dabble in ukulele and violin a bit. Some of my favourite bands are Walk The Moon,  Handsome Ghost and Nothing But Thieves. Twenty One Pilots are also kind of cool as well… I guess…*shifty eyes*

I really want a pen pal because I have loads of really cool ideas. I actually found this scrapbooking kit thing today with loads of cool paper in it and ribbons and things and that got me really pumped, so yeah. I think it’s going to be really cool.

I’m Charlotte, I’m 20 and I’m a student nurse from Bristol, England.

Aside from my studies, I love writing letters, I much prefer it to email, and would love more people to write to.

I’m very into music, especially All Time Low ( if you can’t guess from my blog I’ve met them twice and followed their Back To the Future Hearts tour round the UK last week. I’m also really into tv shows like CSI, Criminal Minds, Elementary, and I absolutely HATE reality tv. I love reading in general, and love a book that can make me cry.

I’m not fussed about gender, or country, just someone to write to frequently and about your hobbies, interests and day to day lives. I’m not very good with people my own age at uni, so anyone older is perfect.

I love many things including camping which I do regularly, hiking and the outdoors. I also love books and videogames such as grand theft auto and red dead redemption. I spend a lot of time on Netflix haha so I am a fan of movies and t. v. my favourite movies are disney, marvel and harry potter. Tv shows I'd say I enjoy the most including pretty little liars, how I met your mother, Friends, orange is the new black and brooklyn nine nine. I love dogs and would like to have loads in the future haha. I am interested in travelling so would like to speak to people from anywhere in the world, always great to add new places to my travelling list!
