25 minutes at bedtime
Yay ! It worked ! The experiment with remembering God and watching the breath through the busy hours of yesterday, paid off. At night, when it was time for me to sleep, I could steer clear from my dream weaving mind. The meditation session went well.
All one has to do is hold the desire for God through the day. The act of holding the Divine thought has to be done gently. As and when the reminder-thought to watch the breath comes and goes, feed the reminder-thought. Feed it by watching your breath until you get distracted. Same thing in case you have a mantra. Indulge in it with as much gentle attention that you can give it, at the moment. Following up with a mental reminder with an instant one breath meditation in the middle of a busy day, keeps the calm side of the mind awake. This supports the nightly meditation 🧘♀️ session.
Meditating last night was easy because of the effort I took in the day to remember. Hope to do this again today. Lots of love to the reader.
