"Once upon a time, in the days before the clans, there were 5 cats. they were all friends. They were looking for a place to settle since they had been chased from their old home. They traveled… and traveled, but couldnt find anywhere to stay. When they finally DID find a place, it was full of dangerous enemies. They had received a sign through their most spiritual cat, Wisp. She told them this was where they must settle. They argued, since no one knew how to fight off the legions of enemies. So Wisp told them to sleep on it. They did, and when they awoke, they felt… different. One of them, Quake, found he could control rocks and earth. They all soon discovered that they had gotten powers in the night. Torrent could control water and weather, Ivy could control the land's flowers and herbs, and Wisp could heal upon touching the injured cat, at the cost of her own health. The only one who didn't know her power was Cole. Cole felt… sad. Sad that she couldn't help like the others.
Torrent created a huge thunderstorm with a lot of rain to obscure the eyes of their enemies. Ivy created thorned vines to pierce the skin of the villains. Wisp healed anyone who got too injured. Quake built walls of stone as shields and forts. Cole felt even sadder. Wisp tried to assure her that she could still help, but one of the giant dogs of the land grabbed her and nearly killed her. This angered Cole. Wisp was her closest friend. Cole's rage burned… and burned… until her anger was red hot. When she finally came out of her blackout, the land was on fire. Everyone was rushing to get to safety, and Torrent called a stronger storm to put out the fire. After the chaos stopped, they all looked to Cole with fear. Cole tried to apologize, but they wouldn't listen. This only angered Cole again, and her power once again grew out of control. In the resulting fire, Torrent felt he was forced to end Cole's life. He had to put the fire out.
After many years, the descendants of the main four, excluding Cole, developed powers of their own. The powers varied greatly, including flight, limited invisibility, and the ability to see spirits. However, some were found to be born with the power of fire. Upon the age of 6 moons, when a cat's power is discovered and uncontrollable, any cat born with the power of fire is killed. The three clans; IvyClan, TorrentClan, and QuakeClan, enforce this harshly. All deceased cats of good nature go to the Wisplands, where Wisp resides, as an afterlife. All the bad cats, and the ones with fire powers, go to Limbo. Limbo is the dark area outside of the Wisplands.
Some cats don't agree with the execution of the fire cats, but they're too afraid to say anything. However, a few cats may change that…"
