Wish
(think Peter Pan and kisses)
"Make a wish, Pads."
Sirius faltered just as he was about to blow out his twelve candles.
"A what?"
Remus blinked back in confusion. "You know, a wish? You think of something you really want and then you… just… wish for it. Hope to get it."
"Why wouldn't you just use a wand?" Sirius turned to James, relieved to see the same confusion mirrored on his face at Remus' explanation.
"Don't purebloods know about wishes?" At Sirius and James' head shakes, he continued. "Well, it's like I said, you think of something you really want, close your eyes -" Remus followed his own instructions, "-then blow out the candles." Again, Remus demonstrated, pursing his lips in a pseudo-blow.
Transfixed, all Sirius could think to wish for was to always see those long lashes, brushing against tawny skin, and have gently explaining lips focused on him.

Married guys are the biggest challenge so those are the ones I go for. The best part is…

I want to say what I want to say ( in god's name say what you have to say / but first you pay ) I don't want to hurt ( myself / others ) everything can hurt ( pencils can be knives / books can be bludgeons / blankets can be nooses ) and words are the objects of the minds but the same words can ( carry happiness / shoot a gun ) my words dribble from my mouth like ( blunt instruments / speeding cars ) like inadequate insubstantial sludge even when I want to help I want to help but I never know ( what to say / how to say it ) I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm always sorry I'm always scared of ( saying the wrong thing / not understanding / losing ) ( but I refuse to lose / but I refuse to roll over and cease / but I refuse to forsake all that is good in the world for ) ?
