The Beatles on stage at the Astoria Ballroom, Oldham, on 12th February 1963. A riotous concert which saw 2000 Beatle fans attempt to storm the venue. Only 800 were allowed inside with many turned away. Excited fans rushed the stage and one woman’s dress was ripped in the melee. The previous day the Beatles had been at EMI Studios recording tracks for their upcoming album, Please Please Me, and John, who was suffering from a nasty cold, had practically lost his voice singing Twist And Shout, so George and Paul took on the lion share of the singing for the performance.

The Harrier SkyHook crane concept from Eagle No. 47, dated 12 February 1983. I don't think this caught on (no pun intended).

Spellbound No. 21, dated 12 February 1977. Supercats cover by Enrique Romero. Inside was an ad for the new strips arriving next issue. DC Thomson.
Warlord No. 125, dated 12 February 1977. The Boys of Terror Island cover by Jeff Bevan.
The sub-machine gun held by the central character intrigues me and I'll have to dig the issue out to see if it is shown inside. Might just be one Jeff Bevan made up for the cover as I can't think of a WW2 period gun quite like that - with a perforated barrel and a bottom mounted magazine. The Japanese Type-100 SMG did have a similar barrel but the magazine was side-mounted.
Two current possibilities are the Beretta 38 or the FNAB 43.
