So when the foot clan brought Shredder back from the dead they needed the essence of a Hamato to get to his full power , what if when foot Brute was talking to Draxum about Donatello joining the foot clan was because they were planing to have draxum as a " welcome back meal " and the use donatello as a power boost! For your 1,2,3,(4) fic.
An interesting concept! However, in terms of the canon timeline vs the 123(4) timeline, I am currently expecting my fic to end before the events of the Canon Finale. I'm expecting an epilogue, but no further expansion beyond that (unless I change my mind at the end hahaha).
I'm not really looking to rewrite the show, I started writing 123(4) cause I had a story I wanted to tell. That story was originally much shorter and less complicated, but finishing that story is still the prime and only goal. The Foot Clan/Shredder plot kinda just came as a package deal hahaha
My rambling will hopefully make sense when I get to that point.
It is interesting you bring up the Hamato essence, though. The next chapter actually has some commentary on how the Hamato Clan views This Whole Situation.
Can already tell I’m gonna be busy with a lot of things this month, between my job and also the fact that I’m scheduled to age at some point later this month. Still, I wanna keep my good habits, which is why I’m doing these updates after all.

I bloody love your 123(4) fic!!!! Im wondering if donnie gets his memory's back or not if yes the angst! If no the angst! I'm loving the interactions between Draxum,Hugin and Munin! I think Draxum is slowly getting attached to his new "son" ! Also I'm exited for how your going to write how Karai comes into play!! No pressure, just wanted to compliment you!
Thank you so much!! :D I know I'm writing this fic for myself and all, but it is very nice to see how others are enjoying it.
The ending I have planned is going to be very fun, I think. Trying to stay in the moment and NOT write this fic backwards has been an ongoing battle (that i sometimes lose), because I am very excited to get there.
Though tbh, I haven't made the decision to fit in Karai yet. That's more "possible sequel or epilogue" content, at the moment. ^^

I think I blacked out through the entirety of November... I remember calling my mom on her birthday, and going to my friend’s for thanksgiving, and then suddenly it was December. Somehow, I did finish the next chapter? It’s gotta go through one more round of editing I think.

I’m not burnt out, I want to create and I want to be faster. But the Winter won’t let me.
Wanted to have the next chapter ready to go by now but it ended up being WAY longer than originally expected, to the point that the flow only really works if I split it up into 2 chapters. "Nature" is approx 75% done, "Nurture" is about 45%. Titles subject to change, but unlikely.

Finish "Nature" & post it
Have "Nurture" at least 90% done

The holiday season always requires some overtime at work
I should probably try to contribute to my friendships, huh? At least this is a good one.
There's a couple personal projects I'm lowkey in the mood to pick at. Wow two whole GOOD roadblocks this month, not bad. This one's kinda a coin flip if I do it though.
Burnout tracker:
Doin' alright still. Switching my work habits to working a little every day rather than attempting to do it all on one day helps. Maybe my brain likes habits or routine more than the bursts of work?
So winter is coming and due to the Illness (and my day job) winter-spring tends to be my least creatively productive time, so to combat it this year I think I'm gonna try blogging some progress goals per month? We'll see how long I keep on it hahaha
