thing is I only actually learned about the eclipse on Monday so I didn't have time to get the cool epic eclipse glasses or any filters for my camera to not fuck the sensor, and so with the fear of fucking the sensor in mind I didn't use my Canon 60D which is my main camera but instead the Sony H400 which I never really use anyway. But I think it probably didn't get bright enough to fuck a sensor so I should've just used my 60D instead, so we're left with the worse quality H400 where I don't love how soft the images are, and also next time I use this I need to remember that the auto white balance seems to lean disproportionately warm so I should only ever use manual white balance and put it in like fuckin tungsten or something, would normally be an overcorrection but might be what needs to happen to bring that camera back to normalcy. Oh well. It's not like I knew what it was gonna be like before I went so I don't regret not bringing way more fucking camera kit with me on a hot as fuck day where I'd also be walking a lot and up to the top of the hill I climbed and shit, so.

You know what I did actually get it tbf! Third one is just dramatic clouds I liked but those first 2 are actually the eclipse, even if not the most impressive shots of it! I'm happy I managed to at all though that's what's important.
The place I was watching the eclipse from was really busy but also I was one of only like 5 people max that had an actual camera and so I genuinely got quite a lot of attention from people which was very interesting
I did buy him while I was out and take an auraful photo so we do count that as a W
