The weather was so lovely outside so I put off doing any homework and instead went longboarding all around the canal and all over the neighborhood for super long. Ahhh!! It was so awesome with the slight breeze brushing against my face and the fluffy clouds just drifting over my head as I cruised along. Plus, everyone I passed by seemed to be in really good moods and *sigh* it was just perfect!(: I wish I could have been out longer but I didn't get to go out until 2pm because someone was coming by to pick up a book and I don't really trust my parents to not be awkward since I hardly know the guy only that he's in the same book club group as me and some mutual friends(x And then at 5pm a bunch of family friends were coming by for our annual New Years dinner and fellowship. That was really fun though(: I got to get to know a lot of people better and just have a lot of laughs :D

Oh come on, it's not like there's a big transformation from one thing to the other. But the resolutions, the starting over. It's the fact that people move to make changes, and become something better or do things... thats what counts.

It's like we all start over, without having to pay for it, or die, or get over some difficult task. The days of the year rewind back to one. We start a new day for a new year that will never pass again in our lifetime.

We may not become a whole new person, or be in a whole new place, but it's a little something to sort of start over. We can make a change any day, everyday. But it's the excitement over the ticking of a second between two years that can get people really thinking about what they want to do in the next 365 days that follow.
