NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT TONIGHT.

U.S./Canada headlining tour kicks off tonight in Philadelphia at the TLA! Tonight they asked people with VIP packages to show up 30 minutes before doors; we’ll see if that recurs at all the other dates. All canned goods brought to the show tonight will benefit Philabundance – if anybody brings some and gets their hands on one of those exclusive posters, by the way, we’d love to see it!

Basically, this show is going to be rad as hell. We’re going to do our best to keep up with posting pictures, but it would really really help if y’all submitted some of your own to us, too!

Peace, love, and the LITERAL GREATEST TOUR TO HAPPEN THIS YEAR to you all,

Last week I decided to take a break from all of my responsibilities and hung out with my friend who came back from Taiwan for a couple of weeks. She and I went to undergrad together and UC Riverside a few years back. We met because we got placed in the same dorm building, Pentland I, during our first year. We ended up joining the same club on campus, Senryu Taiko, along with another friend of ours, and eventually we became really good friends. 

Taiko really brought us together. The three of us went through a five week tryout period, every Monday and Wednesday night from six to eight, and we often came early for “extra practice” starting at five. We were really determined to get in and got close with some of the members. 

We received our acceptances through email. It was both stressful and exciting waiting for the emails to come. Luckily, all three of us made it in! For four years, taiko was a defining factor in our lives. Even though that time in my life is now over, taiko will forever be a part of who I am. 

A SECOND CHANCE.

Okay. Midshift sya at di kami makakanuod today. Pero we agreed na sa Saturday nalang ang movie date. And isa pa, di kami okay. Hahaha! Di kami nagpapansinan since yesterday. Keber ko. Bahala sya sa buhay nya. Mangyayakap sa madaling araw, eh nakakapikon kasi sarap ng tulog ko. Maaga pa pasok ko tapos mangungulit ng alanganing oras. Kapikon lang. Pero sweet naman. Naiinis lang talaga ako.
