Sandra/Inferno here! In addition to performing with the World/Inferno Friendship Society this weekend halfway across the country, I will also be featured in a exhibit dedicated to the ill-fated artist complex I was once a part of in a Jersey City that no longer exists...before the quaint restaurants and corporate investment towers...we made a lot of art and gave a lot of fight for a piece of history none of us who experienced its growth and its ultimate demise will soon forget. Come to Jersey City and see some art!
Also the impetus for the show is the release of a book by David Goodwin which documents the building's history "Left Bank of the Hudson: Jersey City and the Artists of 111 1st Street". He will be speaking at 2pm on October 15th. I'll be in attendance as well, so come say hello.
