i’m a BACK-ON deadass loser fan, so when I heard that they were going to perform at AFA SG, I... fucking went to SG just to see them. IT WAS WORTH IT, AFTER 8 YEARS IN FRONT OF COMPUTER, I FINALLY CAN SEE EM LIVE and people were SO SUPPORTIVE I REALLY LOVE MY FIRST CONCERT EXPERIENCE

1. What is your favourite sound?

I think maybe rain sounds?? like the sounds of a bunch of things hitting a bunch of other things!!! omg that’s so vague :) like the sounds of birds hitting rackets is super nice too!!! omg

1) What is your favourite movie and why? HTTYD 2 Because it is visually stunning and it left me wondering so much about how Hiccup was going to deal with Stoick’s death and being Chief and his relationship with Astrid and I became obsessed. 

2) If you were president of the universe for a day, which movie would you remove from existence? I don’t know. 50 Shades of Grey maybe? I have never seen it but I have heard things. 

3) Would you take a million in your preferred currency if it meant that, for the rest of your life, you had to sprint (full tilt) whenever you wanted to walk? Oh my gawd. I hate running/sprinting so much but I would do it for a million dollars. I imagine I would hurt myself a lot. I am a klutz. 

4) What is your favourite musical instrument? (you don’t have to be able to play it!) The Banjo. 

5) Does it annoy you when I spell “favourite” with that “u” in the middle? (No, I am Canadian) How many houses have you lived in throughout your life thus far? If apartment buildings count, 10.

6) How about “colour?” “Honour?” “Humour?” hehe Playstation, Xbox or PC? (Or Wii, I guess) PC. I am not really a gamer. I have a Wii but I just boxed it up because the remotes no longer hold a charge.

8) What do you own that holds the most sentimental value to you? I am not particularly sentimental but my Surface Pro has all my art work on it and I need it. 

9) What is your all time FAVOURITE fic? I don’t remember what it was called, but back in the day, I think it was @hiilikedragons who wrote a Hiccstrid fic where Astrid was a tattoo artist and Hiccup was getting a tattoo and it was wonderfully written.

10) Tea or coffee? (Be careful how you answer this.) Tea. Coffee gives me heart burn.

11) Don’t you just love to sing? I sing all the time. Like I literally narrate my day in song.

1. Do you still sleep with stuffed animals or a special blankey? No. I never really did. Maybe because I was asthmatic and Mom wouldn’t let me as a child. 

2. Do you remember odd dates? (Like for me I remember spring of 2011 on a Wednesday morning at about 7:00 there was a HUGE family reunion of quail) No. I am terrible with dates.

3. Do you read fanfiction? If so, do you have a favorite author? I do not really read a lot of fan fiction as I am too busy drawing or writing my own but I do usually take the time to read @e-wills drabbles.

1. Minimalism or extravagance?

I much prefer minimalism over extravagance. Extravagance overwhelms me. I can’t help but imagine how much better the world could be, if we only made and bought what we needed and instead of being slaves to debt we had time to connect with one another and be creative. 

2. If you could only see black and white with only one other color for the rest of your life, what color would it be? All the colours are special to me. But red I suppose. It is my favourite colour. It looks nice paired with greys. I could still see people blush. And it is an important colour for stop signs and stuff? I feel like this is a really lame answer. Ha. 

3. Which season represents you the most? I like autumn. I had my “colours” done once and I am apparently an autumn. I like the colours of the leaves and the temperature of fall. I have been a student or a teacher most of my life, so September marks new beginnings for me. 

4. Write the longest alliterative sentence you can (Ex. While whales went wailing… or Red robins read readily…) Bobby Bear bathes by Blue Bay Beach because beautiful bubbles bounce bountifully by Blue Bay Beach.

6. Do you have any mannerisms? I am sure I do. I am an odd duck. If someone says something that reminds me of a song, I have to sing the a line from that song. Like I have to. 

7.  Has anything every made you gasp at its beauty? If so, what was it? Water, skies, people, art, nature, baby animals, baby humans, landscapes....I am easily impressed. 

8. Favorite movie genre? Fantasy, Legends.

I like to think that I am slowly becoming a pretty decent artist. I am a pretty kick ass face painter. 

10. How accurate do you think your Zodiac stereotypes are? Eh....I am a Leo. People tend to think they like to lead the crowd and they think the world centre’s around them, but I am a pretty content being an antisocial wall flower most of the time. I hate being a leader as I like to avoid conflict. I don’t have the confidence. I am an introvert so a lot of the extroverted traits associated with Leo’s I don’t necessarily hold. 

11. What’s your favorite joke/riddle? I can’t think of a joke right now, but I love puns.

oh my god the pup was this half-grown brindled baby. one of those dogs that have a really square face?? it looked like a mix of like 5 breeds.

okay I'm meaning to watch snowpiercer tomorrow which is apparently mindblowing but as of right now...if we're going recent...brooklyn nine nine. it was interesting to see how they took the sitcom format and made it about friendship and positivity!! even when they make jokes at people's expense it's obvious that it's not mean-spirited. 

6. One thing you’ve learned that has altered your mindset

People don't really remember your small mistakes the way you think they do.

It takes me forever to get around to it but I love laundry! I mean the machine does most of the work for you
