thephoebetomlinson: this image is probably one that makes the the most sad to look at. It was always us 4. We shared a bedroom growing up, we played together, we laughed together and just loved life together. Loosing my mum and my sister both in the space of two short years was something I never thought I’d overcome or learn to live with. I remember people saying to me “it’ll get better pheebs”, and it was so hard for me to believe them because I honestly thought it wouldn’t. I was so broken to see it in that way. To be totally honest with you guys, it doesn’t ever truly get better, you just learn to live with it and it becomes easier. It’s always there though, always in the back of your mind. I haven’t always been very open with you guys about my mental health personally and honestly I don’t know why. I recently did put up a post on my story about it and I got the loveliest response from it. Knowing that me being open and honest about the way I was feeling and my emotions could help you guys was such a nice feeling. Some days are better than others but my favourite phrase to live by is “it’s not a bad life, just a bad day”. It’s something that Louis said to me once and it’s always stuck with me and gets me through some tough times. The most important thing to remember about mental health is that you are NEVER alone, there will always be someone feeling the same as you. It’s also important to know that you don’t have to have a reason to feel down or to be struggling with mental health. Sometimes life just gets too much and I know the feeling, you can’t always put your finger on why it is and that’s okay. Wrapping this up, PLEASE look after yourself and your loved ones. You don’t always know what someone is going through so always be kind. Your kindness and sympathy might just be what someone needs right now🖤
