Well if it isn’t Casper making a rare appearance. Usually he’s hiding, or napping, or both.

It’s been a long workweek. Good news: I finished the project I was working on. Awaiting feedback. Less exciting news: there’s another project waiting for me which I anticipate will be more annoying and tedious. Best news of all: we have off Monday for Columbus Day. Yay 3 day weekend!

Tomorrow I get to see my bestie @operationkay10 which I am verrrry excited for. It’s been too long.

This weekend I’ve really gotta do some cleaning around the house. I don’t wanna do it, but that’s the thing about owning a house. It don’t matter. I’ll feel better once it’s done.

Sunday my parents are supposed to be coming to visit. They’ve not been the most responsible about COVID and generally the impression I get from them is that they don’t feel like it’s as big a deal as it is. Which is annoying. The apple fell far from the tree in some respects. We still have to firm up plans, so we’ll see what happens, but I’m hoping it’ll be nice enough outside that we can hang out on the deck and make a fire.. i.e. not be huddled up inside.
