Zelda sat back in the computer chair and stared at the countdown on the large holographic screen in front of the giant blue Sheikah Reactor. it continued to tick away at the time left before Hyrule would forever be changed. Fifteen minutes.
âWhyâd you stop?â Link asked. She could hear the worry in his voice and she shook her head slowly, mouth hung open slightly.
The Sheikah Reactor had changed the face of Hyrule for the better. It was a source of constant energy. A mix of old magic and the most sophisticated technology the Sheikah had ever created. Half the worldâs power grid, not just Hyruleâs, ran off of it. All the production factories, the buildings, the homes, and more were powered by this reactor and⊠In less than fifteen minutes it was going to overheat, have a meltdown, and then explode, releasing more energy than the half of the world it powered could use in 1000 years in a split moment.
âI canât stop it. Thereâs thousands of computers attached to this code, reinforcing it and keeping it from being changed, Iâd have to hack into every one of them at the same time or- Or find the host computer and-... and-â Zelda looked at the countdown. Just over 14 minutes.
âThatâs⊠Thereâs not enough time for that.â Link looked around the room at the dozens of computers just in the control center and then out at the city surrounding it. Theyâd done the math and there were around 3,000 computers across the country were infected with the virus. Everything was quiet outside since the evacuations had started days ago. âDoes that mean..?â
âThereâs⊠Thereâs no stopping this.â Zelda said, feeling a heavy weight settle in her stomach as she realized what that meant. They- No. She had failed. Miserably.
âWe can leave. We have the Slate and the blueprints and the important records, we can just warp out of range, weâll be okay.â Link said and Zelda looked back at him again. 12 minutes.
âSo we can be two of the few who survive? How fair is that when weâre the ones who were supposed to stop this from happening?â Zelda asked quietly and Link frowned.
âWeâd be here to help put the pieces together.â Zelda looked back at the timer. Just under 11 minutes. Why was she still sitting? Why wasnât she still trying? Anything? Maybe she could at least delay the inevitable detonation of the Ancient Reactor, but-
âWill they need us to put the pieces together?â Zelda asked, still staring at the countdown. Ten minutes remained until a significant portion of Hyrule would be levelled to the ground. Zelda knew in her head it wasnât their fault. Whomever had written that virus was beyond evil and beyond intelligent too. They were the real one responsible for this.
âThey might not need me, but theyâll need you.â Link said, going to Zelda and pulling her out of the chair and to his chest. Zelda couldnât take her eyes off the countdown as Link programmed the Sheikah Slate to fast travel them away. Hopefully the evacuations had gotten as many people as they could away from the capitol before-
Suddenly, they were gone and at a cliffside overlooking the vastness of Hyrule Field. Castle Town and the accompanying capitol buildings were just a speck in the distance now. They should be safe from the majority of the blast impact here. Zelda gripped Linkâs arm that was still around her as her knees went weak underneath her. Everything they knew was going to change because of this. All of their precautions and cyber security measures had failed and they could only watch as everything they knew was destroyed before their very eyes. There wouldnât even be rubble with how much energy would come out of the reactor.
Zelda dug her nails into Linkâs arm around her, chest heaving as the guilt began to morph into anger and upset. She grit her teeth, biting back a sob, instead choosing to scream. She let out the anger she felt towards the faceless writer of the virus and the pain knowing that her father was sitting even now in the Capitol building waiting to die with the city and the unevacuated people he was responsible for. Link held onto her as her screams faded into angry sobs.
When the blue explosion lit up the sky, Zelda let out a wail and buried her face into Linkâs chest so she didnât have to watch. Link pressed his face into her hair and squeezed his eyes shut. It took several moments for the sound of the explosion to over take them and even as far away as they were it was loud enough to deafen them momentarily.
The fields would burn blue for days and the residual glow of the Sheikah Reactorâs energy would illuminate the field for months to come while Hyrule would struggle to put the pieces back together.

100 Follower Request: I would like to see some this so called "terrible, terrible art" please? If that's okay?
Oooh boy, Iâm not sure if you want to see this, but here it is anyway. I have a lot more art that Iâm not showing because I tend to use a reference photo and free draw it most of the time, and I donât want to take credit away from the original artists. (I also canât do digital art so this is all sketched)
Terrible proportions but here we have finger guns Anna of Cleves, cheeky as usual.Â
Here is my Anne Boleyn in a suit sketch I did while in math class (when school was still in session). Youâll find out quickly I canât do proportions at all.Â
This time the sketch is from my science class, hurrah! Terribly proportioned Seymour from Haus of Holbein rises.
Here is what I have titled âA Really Bad Anne Boleyn.â Enough said.
These last two are from an animatic of âBeautifulâ from Heathers, which I highly recommend checking out! I decided to draw a couple of the frames the artist used, and hereâs how it turned out.Â
Congrats on 100 followers! Could you do a thing for #47?
47: âHow many more innocent people have to die?â
WARNINGS: Manipulation, vague nudity, non descriptive sex, body horror(?), stabbing, and open end.
Part 1 | Part 2
Zelda had to get out of this. The longer she stayed there, the more she realized she couldnât just pretend that everything was so hopeless that there was no point in trying. She couldnât abandon her people- Link didnât die for her to do that. Though every plan she thought of to do something about her captivity was riskier than the last. If she was the last thing standing between Hyrule and mass destruction, she had to try to find something that wouldnât kill her.
First thing: She needed to recover the Master Sword. Which would be difficult because the demon was keeping the sword in his quarters and despite being allowed to wander through the fortress, though she hardly did, she imagined she wouldnât be allowed into his room for no reason. How would she manage to retrieve the sword then? What would come next when she did manage it?
While she sat in âher quartersâ deliberating internally about her plan, she looked over as the door opened, the demon entering as he did just about once every day. Whether he was checking on her or just coming to taunt, Zelda had no idea, but she kept her face flat. Linkâs skin had long since turned a deep shade of charcoal grey and his hair was entirely silver. If his face hadnât been the same and she hadnât witnessed the slow transformation into this new appearance, she wouldnât have known it was her Link at all.
âWhat do you want?â Zelda bit out, looking back down at her hands resting on the empty table before her.
âWell, thatâs an awfully hostile way to greet someone who came to offer you a way to save the scraps of your kingdom.â He said dryly and Zelda looked back up at him sharply as he made his way to the chair opposite from her.
âYou mean trick me into giving you something you want?â Zelda asked and the demon laughed.
âIf thatâs what youâd like to call it.â He said, pulling the chair back and taking a seat. âI have Castle Town under siege. At any moment I can say the word and have it razed to the ground.â He said, giving her a look like heâd just locked her into a checkmate in an invisible game of chess on the table before them. Zelda glared at him. âOr- I could call it off entirely.â
Her heart both sang and dropped into her stomach at this. So he was here to trick her. Wonderful. But- If it meant saving her kingdom, she would do whatever it took. Even if he wanted her head on a platter, sheâd do that if he promised to end the attacks on villages and innocent people trying to live their lives.
âWhat do you want from me?â Zelda questioned, less harshly this time. Escape be damned, if she could at least do this one thing for her people-
âMarry me. None of your people will respect me as a ruler without a legitimate claim. If I marry you, then I will gain the right to rule.â Zelda stared at the demon dumbfoundedly. Was he serious? Just like that? When he had quite literally just admitted that he was doing so as a grab for power? As if she would-
She could trick him into allowing her into his quarters if she agreed. She would have easy access to the Master Sword then. Sheâd just have to lay with him- The thought almost made Zelda want to retch right there. If she gave herself to him under the guise of giving into his advances she could take the sword while he was asleep. It- Wasnât the best situation, but- If she closed her eyes it could at the very least be Link in her head. And then she could kill him with minimal fuss. Zelda took a deep breath and closed her eyes, struggling with the idea of this plan. It seemed simple and yet-
âThink about it, Princess. I get what I want and you get to save your people. And youâll get to be married to the person you love in a sense.â He edged her on, trying hard to convince her to accept his proposal. Oh- He really wanted this didnât he? The demon who hadnât even bothered to tell her his name since he had taken over Linkâs body all those months ago-
âThatâs-â Zelda stopped, unsure what to say still. She wanted the violence to end, but- She also didnât want to use her own body in such a way. It was low and manipulative. But she had been being manipulated this entire time, so why should she care if it was or not?
âCome on, Princess. How many more innocent people have to die before you swallow your pride and submit?â He taunted her again. Oh, she wished she could slap him again right then- Her unease was cut through with anger. How dare he question her loyalty to her people- Sheâd show him.
âFine.â She answered finally. âOn the condition that you stop all violent activity against my people by this afternoon, I will agree to marry you.â He grinned wickedly.
âConsider it done.â
The demon was beyond pleased with himself and his guards had celebrated loudly for the rest of the day and well into the night at this âvictoryâ. Oh, if only they knew the hell they would pay when Zelda got a hold of the Master Sword. Of Linkâs sword. Sheâd make them wish that Link had killed the demon when he came to the fortress in the first place. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and she was a goddess and was fucking livid.
It was late the next evening when Zelda exited her chambers, padding her way barefoot down the hallway to where she knew the demon slept. Her heart was thudding loudly in her ears as she approached the door between her and the demon. Was this really about to happen? Would he be rough with her? Would she bruise? Would he talk down to her like she was nothing but a whore or would the tiny remnants of Link that remained in his behavior towards her come through and he would be gentle with her during her first time? She steadied herself before opening the door to the demon's chambers.
His crimson eyes fixated on her from where he was laid out over his bed that was much like her own. Odd that it wasnât more lavish, but she supposed that wasnât important.
âOh? And to what do I owe a visit from my wife-to-be?â He teased her, propping himself up on his elbow and draping his other arm across his midsection. Damn him- He knew that was something LInk would do when she got his attention. Zelda slipped in and shut the door behind her.
âIâm- Tired of resisting.â She said, making sure that her voice had a tiny whine at the end of it. Like she was close to tears. Lady Impa would have been proud of her acting skills right now as the demon was eating it up. He raised a brow at her and smirked, gesturing her closer with a curl of a single finger.
âAre you now? Well, itâs about time.â He said, sitting up and watching her as she made a show of hesitantly locking the door behind her and ever so timidly making her way to the bed. âDonât be shy, I wonât bite⊠Not that hard at least.â He teased, chuckling darkly and Zelda blushed.
Holy Hylia above, she was really about to do this. She didnât have to fake the nerves as she crawled into his bed and let him touch her and disrobe her. The tremor in her hands as she started to touch him back was as real as the situation she was in. For all the demonâs aggression towards her in the past, he made sure to at least attempt to soothe her nerves, but every thought she had was plagued by the knowledge that this wasnât Link like she was trying to pretend it was. This was a demon.
Thankfully, Link, or at least his physical body, was also inexperienced and wasnât able to last too long. It had felt⊠Alright. Zelda would have been much more relaxed and emotionally fulfilled if she had been with Link instead of this spirit piloting his form.
âSee, that wasnât so bad.â THe demon rumbled into her ear when they were finished. He laid against her back, holding her naked form against his own. âI even made you finish~â He had, in fact, not done so. She had faked it to stroke his ego a little bit more into relaxing. She had been trying to focus on anything other than the demon the whole time: her plan to escape, going home and celebrating the end of the war, mourning everyone they had lost, mourning Link- But it was done now at least, she could turn her attention to her next step.
Of course, he didnât make it easy.
With his arms around her waist and his face pressed against the back of her shoulder, it would be very hard for Zelda to get up out of the bed without waking him up. Especially because the way he held her wasnât just a loose hold, he was gripping her firmly. Fuck, this may have been a mistake.
Though- She did have time to look around the room now. She didnât know where exactly the sword was located or hidden, so she glanced around the parts of the room that she could see. There were weapons and baubles everywhere, but finally, Zelda was able to make out the golden triforce on the scabbard of the Master Sword in the corner of the room, concealed partially by a few other weapons.
Zelda shifted once. Then twice. Then a third time to see if the demon was awake or not. When he didnât respond to her shifting in any way, his grip even loosening unconsciously around her, she knew it likely was safe to try and get up. If he woke up she could say she needed to use the bathroom or to⊠clean up from their activities. Carefully, Zelda squirmed and twisted from the demonâs grasp, finding the dress that she came in, not liking the bite of the cold air on her bare skin before picking her way carefully over to the corner where the Master Sword was.
There was no way this was going to be this easy- Surely this demon wasnât so oblivious to think that she would just- Sleep with him without an ulterior motive. She had resisted doing it for months now, that wasnât just going to change overnight.
She gripped the hilt of the Master Sword and carefully tried to move it from behind the other blades trapping it against the wall. Finally, Zelda was able to pull the hilt from behind the other blades and then carefully extracted the scabbard and blade from the tangle of weaponry.
Thatâs when a movement caught Zeldaâs eye and she looked at the stack of blades on the wall. One of the swords crossguards caught on the Master Swordâs own crossguard as she freed it and it tilted precariously to one side, then started falling, falling- And clattered loudly on the ground, hitting two more on the way down, adding them to the noise as they also clattered against the stone floors.
Zelda whipped around to face the bed- Sure enough the demonâs eyes were open and fixed on her in a dangerous way.
âAnd what exactly do you think youâre doing Princess?â The demon questioned as he got up, not bothering to put clothes on as he put his feet on the ground and began making his way to her. This was bad! Very bad! But she had the sword! She had no idea how to use a sword, but! How hard could it be??
Panicking, Zelda yanked the blade out of its scabbard and sent a quick prayer to the Goddesses to help her as the demon paused in his advancements. Then he started to chuckle.
âOhoho, is this really what you want to do, Princess?â He taunted, narrowing his eyes at her. âWhat are you going to do? Kill me? Kill him?â He said, edging around her, trying to circle so that he was between her and the door. Zelda stepped closer to the door, keeping her back to the wall and the point of the Master Sword towards the demonâs chest.
âYou think this is all a game. You want to use me and him like pawns. Itâs going to end. Tonight.â Zelda said. The demon tilted his head to one side and scoffed.
âPerhaps it will.â He said, raising a hand as a myriad of shadows congealed into the form of a blade not unlike the Master Sword but pitch black. âI should have guessed that you werenât going to concede that easily, but- You put on a convincing show. You were rather determined to do this, werenât you.â He said, gripping the blade tightly. Oh shit- Oh shit, they were really about to fight werenât they? Oh this was bad- This was a horrible plan, oh goddesses help her-
The demon swung and by some divine fluke, Zelda parried the strike. How? She wasnât entirely sure. Sheâd never used a sword in anything other than formal ceremonies before, by all means he should have just stuck her like a pig- Another strike and she parried again, her feet taking her back half a step, but she wasnât dying yet so that was fine.
âWhat-?â The demon furrowed his brow and eyed her, clearly seeing the surprise on her face. âStop doing that!â He snarled as he struck again. Once again, Zelda blocked. The demon snarled at her now and began rapidly trying to strike her. And as if the Master Sword had a mind of its own and control over her feet, Zelda blocked, parried, and pivoted away from each strike, much to the annoyance of the demon.
When Zelda thought that there was going to be no end to this cycle of strikes and deflections, she saw an opening. The demon raised his sword up as if to bring it crashing down upon her head- and left his entire abdomen open. Zelda pointed the tip of the Master Sword directly at his stomach and stepped forwards, putting her weight and everything she had in her behind the thrust.
The sickening sound of the blade cutting through flesh and sinew was far louder than Zelda had been anticipating and she let go of the sword, staggering backwards as she processed what she had- somehow managed to do. Waves of nausea overcame her as she heard the noise on repeat in her mind. Goddess above, what did she just do? The demon stared at the hilt of the sword as it stuck out of his midsection. The sword was buried so deeply into him the tip was also sticking out of his back.
Then a barrage of disturbing noises and gargles exited Linkâs mouth as the demon shuddered, dark black liquid beginning to drip freely from his mouth, nose and eyes and then evaporating quickly away into the air like black little puffs of smoke. He dropped the jet sword, which also faded into smoke before it hit the ground.
âDamn, you- No! I-â The demon gargled out and more and more of the shadowy smoke began to leave Linkâs body. Zelda watched in horror as Linkâs charcoal grey skin lightened and his ash colored hair grew golden brown again and as his body wretched the last of the shadows out, crimson eyes blinked shut and finally opened blue once more.
Zelda could have cried seeing that beautiful blue.
âLink!â She cried, overjoyed that he seemingly was back for a split moment before a pained grunt left him and he went down to one knee, clutching at the Master Sword lodged in his abdomen. Zelda blanched as she realized that she now had to save Link a second time from something a lot more dangerous than a demon piloting his body. Oh- Oh shit-
Congrats on the 100 followers! Can I request 27 for the prompts?
27: âIs the weight of it all finally too heavy?â
General trigger warning for veiled threats.
Part 2 | Part 3
Stones bit into Zeldaâs hands and knees as tears threatened to fall from her eyes. She struggled to catch her breath. This wasnât supposed to happen. How did this even happen??
When Link had left to defeat this creature, this entity- Demon, maybe- heâd promised her heâd come back. Weeks passed and there was no word from him, but there was still visible activity going on in the dark fortress Zelda was now in. She knew something bad had happened, though she didnât want to admit it. She hadnât the heart nor the stomach to admit that maybe, just maybe Link had failed. Nevertheless, it had been up to her to stop this twisted spirit with the Goddess given powers she had, but-
He had been waiting for her and she couldnât bring herself to hurt him. The creature used his voice and the details he knew about her to its advantage and now she sat all but exhausted before it, waiting for the final blow that would end her and doom Hyrule to an oblivion of the demonâs making.
âIs that all you can do, Princess? Is your burden finally too much to carry? I expected more from you.â Zelda looked up at Link- But it wasnât Link.
Linkâs eyes were as clear and as blue as a bright spring day. Unlike the glowing crimson eyes that stared at her now. Not Link moved towards her, boots crunching on the rubble covered floors as he drew near to her, the Master Sword in hand. It had yet to reject itâs wielder, which confused Zelda more than anything. The sword spirit said to dwell in the blade shouldnât have allowed a fel creature to touch it, and yet- Maybe it was still him.
It moved and looked and sounded like Link. Her Link- The one friend she knew she could confide anything and everything in and he was there in all, but presence as this- Whatever it was controlled his body. Could he still perceive what was happening? Was he fighting for control? Was he gone completely? Tears pricked at Zeldaâs eyes and she looked down at the ground again.
âItâs bad enough you took him, donât taunt me. Get this over with.â Zelda said. The creature- Link, stopped and processed this demand for a split moment.
The demon laughed at her.
âThat you think Iâd kill you is funny. No- I donât intend to do that. At least not anymore,â The demon said, grabbing her chin and making her look up at him. âYou can thank your Hero for that. Despite my control over his body, it seems Iâm having more difficulty than I had expected getting rid of his convictions and⊠bonds.â Zelda blinked down at the floor and looked up slowly at the demon.
âIf youâre not going to kill me then tell me what you plan to do with me?â Zelda asked and the demon smirked at her.
âDonât you worry your little head, Princess. I can see every little thing your Hero knows about you and everything he feels. It was a little jarring how much- love he has for you. Itâs disgusting, really, but- Lust, however- Well, that one I can handle.â The demon said, smirk turning into a sly grin as he began circling her. âItâs easy to see why he feels this way-â
âEnough!â Zelda cried out and turned to face the demon, getting back up to her feet despite her shaky legs. âYouâll never be able to replace him!â
The demonâs little grin turned into something far more wicked than she had been expecting and he was in her face suddenly. She stumbled back a step, tripping over the debris littering the room again and falling backwards. He looked down at her, crimson eyes flickering with things Zelda couldnât read- He leaned in and caught her chin with his hand, holding her gaze steady.
âWeâll see how long that opinion of yours lasts.â
Congratulations for reaching 100 followers!!! I am going full angst here: number 22 please- âWhich part of me wasnât enough?â
This one isn't too long, but I'm rather proud of it. It flowed out so easy, I hope you enjoy it too!
WARNINGS: Mention of major character death and general despair.
22: âWhich part of me wasnât enough?â
Hyrule had shattered and broken underneath the weight of the Calamity and the Guardians that were rampaging across Central and Southern Hyrule. Deya Village was in ruins, Blatcheny Plain was a bloodbath only stopped by Zeldaâs newly awakened powers. She feared what ruin had become of Akkala and the Gatepost Settlements.
The princess wiped tears from her eyes as she hurried from Impaâs home. When she had returned from replacing the Master Sword in itâs pedestal in Korok Forest, Purah had met up with her and given her Linkâs tunic. She had cried the entire way to Impaâs home to keep it safe with Impa until Link woke back up. Impa promised her that she would clean and repair the shredded and bloodstained fabric before then.
Descending the stairway Zelda took the few moments to take in the familiar Sheikah Village and commit it to memory, unsure if she may ever see Impa or the village itself again. As Zelda hurried, she caught sight of the small Goddess Hylia statue enshrined in the small millpond at the heart of the village. Her sorrow was cut by a small bubble of anger and dejection at the divine prank that had been pulled on her at the expense of Hyrule and her friends and her father and Link-
âWhy couldnât you have done this sooner? What part of me wasnât enough for that decency?â She murmured to Hylia as she swept past the statue, towards Sahasra Plain. She had to face Ganon to stop him from destroying the fragments of what was left. Even now she knew there were Guardians attacking the Great Plateau, trying to reach the Shrine of Resurrection to keep Link from waking up again. She had to hurry.
If only she had had a year- a month- a week- a day- a few hours- Everything would have been different. The Champions would never have fallen. Her father would never have had to cover for her and Link as they fled the Castle. She and Link would have never gone through Ash Swamp and he never would have died in her arms.
It had been less than 12 hours since then and even still his hazy eyes and the way he had weakly said her name before fading away haunted her every through. She never wanted to see those blue eyes so dull and grey ever again. Sheâd never forgive herself in the afterlife if she failed now.
Soon enough, she stood before the castle where Calamity Ganon swirled ominously. She took a deep breath, trying to not think about the scent of smoke tinging the air. She clasped her hands, calling upon that euphoric sensation of the Goddessâ power flowing through her, opening her eyes to the ethereal golden glow wrapped around her. Ganon turned to face her, bellowing and rearing back, preparing to strike.
The serpentine boar lunged for her as she raised her hand, the glowing triforce enshrouding her with golden light as she was consumed by darkness.
She would be enough this time even if it killed her.

Test subject Request #6: Dorky and wolfy/watchwolf playing around~ For @ravnicawatchwolf
Still not very good with animal anatomy. But I worked harder on the background~
Experimenting: new lineart brush (again) and new approach to shading. Also adding few highlights.
Notes: brush is ok? I had njo idea what to do with wolfyâs mouth, as you can see all the scribbles in the sketch part. So I just made a temmie mouth with a cute tongue sticking out~ (hehe you shouldâve seen the piece with only the base colours. It lookes hella creepy~) shading is faster this way. So starting with darker colours and building up with lighter shades. Still unsure where to place the cute highlights. and theyâre not very visible here. Still need to work on animal anatomy. and background looks much much better. Even though I have no idea how to draw flower fields. (yes that is supposed to be a flower field)
