Just out of curiosity, how does one become confident in/prideful of their orientation? Like, I’m ace, and I’ve got the basics down for sure - being ace doesn’t mean your broken/there’s nothing “wrong” with being ace, you can still have a (romantic/whatever) relationship if you want it, etc. - but like. What’s next? Because like oh I’ll see someone who’s so proud to be ace and so confident in their sexuality and like it’s a huge part of who they are… and it feels like I’m missing out or something. Granted I’ve only recently started identifying with it more seriously than in the past, but still. There are some who take pride in it, others who loathe it (but hopefully come to take pride as well), and then there’s me I guess, in the middle ground. So uh, my point I guess is- how do I… build that sort of confidence, so to speak? How do I become more prideful in identifying as asexual?
