Opting to fight through his need for sleep is proving to be the wrong decision. Mashirao is ultimately sure of this the moment that he reaches for his apartment’s doorknob, and it begins to turn on its own.
In retrospect, he’s not sure any of these apartments look familiar. In fact, it’s extremely likely that he’s not even in the right Sector. His apartment doesn’t begin with an ‘M’ or end with a ‘1′. It’s Apartment V-5-- and this plaque does not reflect that address...It is now that he’s absolutely positive it’s because it isn’t his apartment.
He just has to find the energy to explain that to the girl on the other side of the door frame.”Um...”
