Okay, I want to clear something up for white people getting upset over “Black Lives Matter” and responding with “All Lives Matter”. “Black Lives Matter” isn’t meant to insinuate that white lives don’t matter, or somehow mean less than black lives. It’s meant as a reminder only, because usually there’s no need for white people to remind the world that their lives matter, but often there is a need to remind the world that black lives matter. It takes nothing away from white people, so stop freaking out over it. I propose a change to help people who aren’t black understand. Instead of “Black Lives Matter”, let’s change it to “Black Lives Matter Too”. Because all lives do matter, but only some need it to be reminded to the rest.
