My biggest takeaway from church today . . .
I am stuck in a shame cycle wherein I am unable to accept love in any form without it feeling like a transaction that I have already duly paid for and earned...
The LORD sees this, calling out my heart's compassion as being woefully impaired, wherein I have often given of love in myriad forms- just as unconditionally as HE gives HIS love to us, -but then I turn right around and am directly unable to receive or accept the same, freely-given compassion and love from others, as if I am somehow unworthy of even being cared for, without incurring a debt to the ones who would freely give it.
I am a mess, and I have been for quite some time... Thus, I must meditate and pray on this until I find the deeper source of this lamentable imbalance in my heart, and wholly root it out.

I have already begun an entirely new pilgrimage into my own shadow, to identify, rectify, and altogether cast out the festering lies that have otherwise shaped me into this hideously abominable being, incapable of being so loved, even by HIM.............
