Hello friend, I was wondering, if you've seen the end of the most recent Minecraft -spoiler- when Ryan runs after Gavin after he kinda dances around the desks, when there's a straight shot after Gav, Ryan actually does kinda run like a charging bull? Weight forward, shoulder and head down... Makes me wanna sketch.

Hey sorry if this is a bother, but a friend and I have been wondering: Are the animals that are chosen genetic or is it sort of like a spiritual animal kinda like thing? And if genetics is the case, then are there any mutated/mixed breed/chimera hybrids (i.e., would Millie have Ram horns and, if Griffon was a bearded vulture, a crown of feathers along with wings)? Are herbivore hybrids genes dominant over recessive carnivore genes, or does it depend?
I don’t know if I would call it spiritual but I don’t think it’s genetic either, considering that if that were the case a lot of the current population of people in this universe would already be crazy mixes of animals lol
I kind of like to think that the animals people share hybrid traits with is a mix of a random gamble and sort of what they’re destined to be kind of like astrology (except without it being tied to your birthday/year, more so your personality or even soul I would say). So Millie could be a totally different animal from her parents and you wouldn’t have to go suspecting the mailman for anything suspicious lol, it’s completely normal in this world to be a completely different animal hybrid than your parents but usually there is a trend with your ancestry, like your dad’s side could have mostly herbivores in the family, or even more specific like horses or deer. So certain hybrid types can run in the family though it’s not uncommon to be something that strays away from that.
annnd…writing this all out now kind of makes it seem unorganized but hey this AU is more fun than anything XD I’m still figuring out all the knitty gritty details as I go, but as far as how are their animals are chosen this is pretty much what I got so far ^^ I hope it helped!
