Speaking of more fitblr-y posts.. maybe this is something?! I finally did a solid cardio workout this morning before work and stepped on the dreaded scale. It was bad, but honestly, it could have been worse. I’m about a pound heavier than when I got pregnant with pep, all together 15 pounds heavier than I was at my post-pregnancy lowest. Hey, it happens.
I’m taking mega motivation from @losingitinvirginia and am gonna put together a daily weight loss calendar tonight for the month of September. I did one a few months ago and it was definitely helpful to identify patterns and keep me motivated. Another big motivator: tracking food. I’ve given up on that entirely since like.. June? And I gotta get back on it. So today I tracked my intake too.
I’m falling into that classic doing-everything-all-at-once, too-much-too-fast, trope, and I realize that, so I’m giving myself room to eat a few more treats here and there and just generally give myself room to not “be perfect”.
I keep reminding myself that it’s one day at a time and no matter how much I want to see ALL the results immediately, it ain’t gonna happen that way. But wouldn’t it be great if it could? 😁
Anywho, here you have some photos of my food lately, including stuffed pepper soup and a turkey sandwich on rye. You also have some pep food photos: he tried brown rice for the first time mixed with some veggies and it went over very well. He’s also loving Greek yogurt mixed with fruit — today was mango. I love how unpicky he is... for now!
