her smile could make a flower grow

even if it was eaten by weeds

and deep and low

in the concrete

in the middle of the road

that’s been paved over

twenty-two times or so

her smile could make gardens

so soft and sweet the flowers would

never die or harden

i could tell her this

she would just shrug off my pardons

even though i believe her smile is bliss

and when i feel it in my kiss

my heart becomes a loaded organ

her smile could stream a river

as if it were being pulled back by rocks

and was fighting the flow for so long

her smile is powerful

and removes the hard blocks

allowing the river to breathe in song

again

her smile could make the sun rise

when her lips curve at the edges

the moon cries

she is gorgeous

even the moon is jealous

and so is every star in the sky

even the birds who fly

during the day and

even the nocturnals who spy

at night

her smile could start a fire

and it has in me, many times

the flames never burn out

and they have made me feel

at my prime

the flame is the spark of my love

for her

the feelings i have will never

burn out

my heart has and will always long

for her

so with this truth,

i have no doubt

her smile could calm a storm

her eyes beaming

as bright and blue

as the warm summer rain

in the summer our love grew

and her calmness took away my pain

i knew then what i had to do

and my love will now always remain

her smile could make wind graze

the wind was always my reminder

of physical calmness in the world

but then i saw her smile

and i felt so calm that

not even my mind could swirl

see,

what i’m trying to say is that

the earth has elements

and i too have them

she happens to be all of mine

she is my world

and all that is in her

makes up it’s entirety

there isn’t an inch of her

that doesn’t fit in my crevices

her smile alone is enough to

make my world heavy with happiness

my cup runeth over

she brings me peace of mind like no other

she grows with love

she burns with love

she calms, she cools

she is my muse
