It's sad to read an article about the death of someone.
My condolences to the family and friends. I can feel the pain that you all suffer from. Even if I didn't know the person, my heart still breaks. I've only met him once & I remember him always riding his bike around. Such a nice & innocent kid who just minded his own business. Although his family blame themselves for what happen, it wasn't their fault. They were only hard on him because they knew he can achieve greater things in life. I guess, a hold of reality hit him and he couldn't handle it. Being grown-up & having to deal with work just didn't fit him. He felt that if he couldn't do this, that he'll just be a burden to his family. On the 3rd of August 2011, he went to his favorite place where he use to play when he was little & took his life by jumping off a 5-story parking garage(structure).
When his older brother heard about the news, he went to the place & all he can do was just stand in front of the building, look up and say, "I got you little bro. I got you." Then, he went to the top of that building just to see what his little brother saw. Only immersed pain and guilt ran through his mind & he broke down.
I'm so sorry that people have to experience such pain and the thought of blaming themselves. Life always has a toll on us but, there will always be many different paths awaiting for us to take. I tried to pay my respect by going to the parking garage, but I was too afraid. I'll definitely attend the viewing and funeral, though. I want to show my condolences to my brother's best friend and give him the support he needs to pick himself right up. I know it'll take awhile but, time will always be there. Sigh* RIP.
