Zase jednou se mi zdá, že jsem zničehonic učinil obrovský skok během velmi krátké doby - najednou mi do sebe zapadlo strašně moc věcí, strašně moc věcí jsem si uvědomil a všechno začalo dávat úplně nový smysl. Kdybych to měl nějak popsat, dobře by mohla posloužit mozaika různorodých motivů a myšlenek, nových i starých.

Kousek dialogu z mého nejoblíbenějšího seriálu, The Young Pope:

Anebo něco, o čem mi onehdy vyprávěla jedna má blízká osoba, co mnou zarezonovalo významným způsobem a od té doby se nad tím často zamýšlím:

Často se stávalo, že nepochopila něco, co jí řekl. Když ho požádala o opakované vysvětlení, leckdy to ignoroval a párkrát řekl něco o tom, že asi není připravená. Bývala frustrovaná a připadalo jí, jako kdyby jí to dělal naschvál, snad za trest. Ovšem po čase si uvědomila, co to znamená - on tím říkal "nemá smysl to nyní vysvětlovat, protože v tuto chvíli stejně nejste připravená to pochopit; akorát bychom zbytečně ztráceli čas, který můžeme využít k něčemu jinému".

A další věci:

Stabilita. Spokojenost. Štěstí? Sebeláska? Je snadnější mít [zdravě] rád někoho, kdo pro vás něco dělá, skutečně jen pro vás, než někoho, kdo je vůči vám lhostejný či dokonce nepřátelský. Udělal jsem to pro sebe. Udělal jsem to jen pro sebe. Tohle je mé sobectví, na které jsem hrdý, a druh lásky, kterou mi nikdy nikdo nevezme. Je mi jedno, jestli mě nemáte rádi; já na něco takového nejsem odkázaný.

A také:

[...] má pro to termín - dekonstruktivismus. Znamená to, že se máš zamyslet nad znalostmi, které máš - odkud přišly, proč v to věříš. A následně rekostruovat svůj pohled.

A znovu se objevuje téma, které jsem hluboce prožíval v létě 2021:

Yesterday, August 1st, 2023, in Saitama, Japan, I finally came face to face with the person I've been writing about, tweeting about, smiling about, teasing and admiring for more than a year now - yes, I finally saw Yoshino Hokuto in real life.

It was only briefly, but from the moment I saw him, he was just sunshine, he gave me such a light and bright feeling that I think I smiled even more than I already was when I saw him.

And he's so gentle, too. When I pointed to the sign I was holding up, he tilted his head forward (so cute!!), raised his eyebrows (cutely!!!!) and slightly (cuuuuute!!) bent down his head to look at it and his face was so cute when he read it.

I didn't have such a great day in the beginning and was even thinking of not going, but I'm glad I went. Even if I felt crappy throughout the event, a day later, I'm happy I decided to go.

I can see what's special about Hokuto, from that brief time with him. He makes people feel warm and at ease.

Well, I’m still here. Still pregnant. Made it to the end of week 38, which is something I can’t say about my previous two pregnancies. The other boys were born at 38+3 and 38+4. Here I am at 38+6, just wondering where those contractions from last week went.

I’m surprised I’m having this hard a time dealing. I’m really not doing well with it.

I have my “39 week” OB appointment today and she did offer me that if I made it this far, she could do a membrane sweep for me. I had that done with pep. I’m leaning toward doing it just because my back pain has really ramped up in the past 24 hours and mentally I’m struggling with sitting around all day with zero plans and plenty of time to overthink.
