It's finished now. Well, I'm gonna re-record something next week when I get back to London, but, um, apart from that, it's basically done, yeah.

It's kind of a mix of- Well, I'd say "Slow Hands" and "This Town" are a good indication to what's happening next. Um, it's very calm, um, and chilled out, and then there's some other parts of it where it's kind of up-tempo and - I don't want to give too much away, but I'm excited about it.

You can write a song in - like, Slow Hands we wrote in, like, two hours, or you can spend a full day on one, and usually if it's not working after a full day - Well, sometimes you might have really good verses and a really good, like, bridge or middle eight or whatever, and you just can't get the chorus, and you might leave it and come back to it a few weeks later, but usually if you haven't got it by the end of the day, you just give up on it.

I finally found my “one.” I finally gave up a life of shallowness. No more juggling hearts and breaking them. No more of that.
You are the best thing that has ever happened to me.
True love does exist.
I don’t deserve you as I am now, though. I hurt you. You’re already hurting. You are wrapped in vines with spines that claw and rip into you.
I am a wilting rose that pricks you with my thorns.
...
I’m going to become a different person. For you. For myself. For everyone. Starting now, I’m not the exact same me anymore. I’ll be better. I hope that’s good enough for you. I hope I won’t drain you. I can’t stand not being enough.
I will cut off my thorns. I will be enough. Even if it kills me.
