"be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon 'em." I HATE being class leader. I'd rather work behind the scenes and not get attention. But nope. Just my luck I become class leader. I try to be a good leader, but nobody listens, and some of the navy in our class just have no discipline whatsoever. I try to quiet the class down, and at the beginning of the program I was nice, but I've started yelling at them which is not a good quality of a leader. But you tell them to quiet down, and either someone has something smart to say, they quiet down for 5 seconds then get loud right away, or they totally ignore me. And then someone gets up and leaves the room, and then HM1 comes back and starts in on our class and me and the 3 other leaders and why can't we do our job? And why is our class average dropping ? And I'm extremely close to being fired, and it's not as if I'm not doing anything. I feel I'm the only leader stepping up, although yesterday the navy leaders started stepping up. Now if inly my AF counterpart would do the same.. I mean, I get it. I may be you get than some of you, but I'm doing my job I was assigned. I have the power to write people down, but I'd rather not be that guy. I'd rather give them a chance. But when HM1 is talking to just us leaders, and SSgt goes outside to check on the class, of course they're talking!!! Like seriously, did you not just hear HM1's whole soliloquy? Oh well... Today's a new day. We'll see how class goes today..
