Above all our sadness, we walked a vivid line of laughter and companionship. No one can ever grasp the lonesome frustration we feel for the pain we silently battle each and every day, but we accepted each other's madness and found the purity of friendship luckily coupled with endearing love and wider smiles. Time passed quickly as we fell asleep by the ocean on a freezing spring day ..the day after we first met and I could see that his eyes were no longer tired. I felt it too and we continued to play long nights in the trap house as summer quickly approached. The stillness in my heart and mind grew. My life found clarity and his life spiraled ever downward in deteriorating mental illness.
