Weird War Tales No. 36, April 1975. Cover by Joe Kubert. This issue features a reprint of the 2 page story "The Day After Doomsday..." by Len Wein and Jack Sparling which had originally appeared in The House of Secrets No. 86, June-July 1970.
Many will find, um, some similarity (or lots) with the later "A Second Chance..." by Alan Moore and Jose Casanovas, a 2 page Tharg's Future Shock from 2000AD prog 245, dated 2 January 1982.

Summer nights,
Sometimes the weather can be a bitch, the heat and trying to find a way to cool down can be hella annoying but tonight I had an amazing time.Â
The weather was the best and it was perfect for the pool. What made it even more perfect was the people I spent it with, my baby, Adam and Steph. Another double date, yeah I can get use to this because I love them two, talking about A & S but ofcourse I love my bubs. But anyways it was perfect. The weather was mad, the pool wasn't too cold or too hot, the company was the best. I'm definately looking forward to the next time we all hang out.
It was a great summer night.Â
