this is much less a poem and more of an advice. i want you to dig deep down inside of your heart. in the veins. in your bones. in your soul. in everything hidden from the rest of the world except from him and i want you to pull out a piece of paper and write either yes or no. and regardless of what you write down, no matter how long it took you to find the answer. read it every morning. imagine that scenario. that he is still in your life. that you decided to stay. your yes. imagine the scenery of your pain. that he is no longer in your life because you don’t want him to be. you decided to leave. your no. and if you hesitate for even a second, if you don’t know if it was the right or wrong decision to stick around until he made it home safe... then, when you’re crying your eyes out or patiently waiting for him to be in your arms. the one that gives you the most peace. that’s the only answer you’re ever going to need.
