قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى: وَتُوبُٓوا اِلَى اللهِ جَمِيعًا اَيُّهَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ. (سورة النور، 31) Allâhü Teâlâ şöyle buyurdu (meâlen): “…Ve ey müminler! Allâhü Teâlâ’ya hepiniz tevbe edin ki felâh bulasınız.” (Nûr Sûresi, âyet 31) Resûlullah Efendimiz (s.a.v.), “Günahtan tevbe eden, günah işlememiş gibidir. Allâhü Teâlâ bir kulunu sevdiğinde, (geçmiş ve tevbe etmiş olduğu) günahı ona zarar vermez.” buyurdular. Sonra; “…Muhakkak Allah, çok tevbe edenleri de sever, çok temizlenenleri de sever” meâlindeki, Bakara Sûresi’nin 222. âyet-i celîlesini okudular.
