Q is a Scholar or White Mage Job Class. Bond is a Dragoon Job Class. Alec is a Red Mage.They meet when a monster was attacking Q and Q gets injured after Q focused on protecting Bond with his White Magic and giving Bond insight on the monster too much. Due to Q's nature for having less offensive ability in his job class, and Bond's preference to have a white magic focused caster to support him in battles, they form a party along with Alec.They fight monsters and go on adventures and raids and maybe save the world. Bonus if Silva is involved too as the villain as a Necromancer and you may have my first born if you include one-sided Silva/Q (with Q being all "do not want' and Bond is fiercely protective).

Summary: Bond had always been curious about that bag that Q always carried around. It was warded, as was obvious from the symbols sewn into the fabric. He did not expect to find out what the precise source of Q's magic the way he did. Notes: Written for the 00Q fanwork exchange

Prompt: Inanimate objects randomly (dis)appear from Q's hands It's a kind of magical (dis)ability that's run in the family for generations. Q constantly carries a magical messenger bag with him that he can store the stuff in. Usually stuff disappears when he forgets about them (one of the reasons why paperwork is now entirely digital). Stuff appears whenever it feels like it. It isn't vanishing somewhere else, it just suddenly pops up. He outs himself to the 00s because an ornate dagger suddenly appears in his hand while he's briefing them on . For @vesper-rose's prompt: At least a partially established relationship, but there's definitely room for them to get to know each other better. What I have in mind is something a bit more centered on thoughts/emotions and backstories, not so much an incredibly fascinating plot. It'd be a bit of an exploration of where they are, and how they got there, how things in the past are affecting them now. If you want to give one or both of them a dark past, I'm all for it. But it could go the other way as well; if you want one or both of them to have rather boring pasts that could work too. If you want to work in James' canon past (by that I mean the events of Casino Royale and such) then that's fine as I'm familiar with that and it'd be nice to see a bit of that.

This came out more fluffy and less h/c than I originally planned, but I think the Q-has-a-secret aspect turned out all right. Thanks to dhampir72 for the great prompt, the patient grigorisgadreel for the fast and thorough beta, and to the 00Q NYP people for organizing this and helping me jump into fandom. <3

When a routine escort mission to the second federal safety zone in post-apocalyptic London goes wrong and all participants disappear, including Q's lover, James Bond, Q enlists a rather...unexpected party in finding the location of all the missing individuals.

Especially in the areas that he knows are extremely dangerous.

My entry for the 00Q Summer Exchange, for iambid. The prompt was "Q and Bond are in love having been thrown together during the darkest days of the zombie apocalypse which has now been and (mostly) gone. Fraught days of running battles and death have turned back into a routine of sorts. The world is getting back to normal (if you discount the fact that everyone now lives in fortified apartment blocks and houses and goes to work armed with at least a machete to deal with any potential undead on the way!!)."
